In the four days leading up to a Christmas Day, the framing crew made tremendous progress on our house to include framing the entire second floor, the roof system and sheathing the roof and exterior of the home with the ZIP System. Some of the windows still need to be cut and the ZIP system requires taping, but for the most part the house is dried in. Windows and doors will be installed in the near future. In addition, the construction of our masonry fireplace will begin shortly and once that is complete and the porch is framed, the roof and siding can be completed.
I’m hoping for more progress this week leading up to the new year and looking forward to the completion of the house in early summer of 2021.
