Pa system vs Jbl Partybox Ultimate 

2 Totally different animals!!!!.....a PA system will sound like a REAL live performance in your back yard.....that's why they are used at Concerts or by DJ's, because Money is involved, people expect a "live" feel to the sound........they also need Lots of volume and space to open up properly, and really need to be Outdoors!!(do not buy if you're listening in your house or garage, you've been warned, I made that same mistake) Party box is better for general music, Indoors, or Smaller outdoors stuff, they sound good if you want portable sound. PA speakers also tend to lack Bass without the sub woofer(so you need to buy wiring, mixer board, lots of shit, not portable or fun to move all that shit)

I prefer the sound signature of the JBL, the PA sounds more neutral and louder of course.

The ultimate is already heavy can’t imagine lugging that PA system around plus wires and connections etc probably around 130+lbs? But the sound of course is what you expect for over $2k

jbl si se escucha muy bien, por que ya trae sus ecualización solo eh escuchado el 710, el PA debe de tener mas potencia le falta un separador de frecuencias para que se pueda defender mejor y tocarlos al aire libre

PA System vs JBL in a corner??

Seems like the PA has more penetration with the mids, while the ultimate has more atmospheric sound.

In my opinion, I prefer p.a sound, in addition to having a balanced sound, and it is possible to add more speakers to the system, in addition to being much more durable than these JBLs that cause problems, not to mention that the p.a is more resistant

Put them in a bigger room, or outside, then you see that EV is much better, even the lower elx series.

Awesome video! I just got the ultimate yesterday. Beast sound signature. Currently trying to figure out why the floor LEDs won't turn on. Do you have to play at a certain volume for them to work? All the other LEDs work. Do I need to turn on Bass boost? So far I have only tested up to about maybe 30% volume because this thing is loud 😆

The mids and lows sound more crisp on the JBL due to JBL's good magnets and drivers, if those are EV's brand PA, they are budget entry level which is probably why JBL can bang with it. EV is known for heating. Both have their uses. JBL is easy on the go and easy functionality plug n play. PA's of this size, i use 4 subs w 4 tops in 4 corners for dances. JBL for large house party!

The PA system definitely has better overall sound and bass and even mids. The JBL is loud and good bass, but no way near as hard as the PA system.
