This song employs a telephone call as a metaphor and a starting point. Someone who broke Pabllo's heart calls her at 4 a.m. trying to win her back. However, she sees right through the other person's bullshit: though he claims to love her, he will only call in the middle of the night, drunk and falsely sorry. The play of words lies in the similarity between "Disk me" as in "Call me" or "(You) call me" e _"Diz que me..."_ , "You say that...". In the chorus, she repeats: _"Diz que me ama quando bebe"_ - You say you love me when you drink - _"mas quando acorda se esquece desse amor, que acabou"_ - but when you wake up, you forget about that love, which [she boldly declares] is over. Pabllo refuses to forgive her former lover because he doesn't truly care for her. The D in _"Diz"_ sounds like the J in "jingle". A particular trait of Pabllo's accent is shown when she makes the final Z sound like "sh", whereas a majority of speakers would utter it like an "s".
This song/video is a must-react: *Emicida - AmarElo (Sample: Belchior - Sujeito de Sorte) part. Majur e Pabllo Vittar* . This project brought together rapper Emicida, trans artist Majur and our beloved queen Pabllo Vittar, interacting with 1976 song "Sujeito de Sorte" ("Lucky Fellow") by late composer and singer Belchior. It goes deep discussing mental health and the hardships of marginalized people. Just watch it!
