Rapping has so many parallel connections to the Bible. Yahweh speaking life into existence, life and death in the power of the tongue, preaching, ect. Rap is preaching, teaching, and vibrations that carries with it negative spiritual implications. Then you take into account “idols” being raised up and worshiped (a whole discussion in itself), the government purposely removing Black fathers from the household (another discussion in itself), then Blacks reality being manipulated by the system. Poor housing, education, opportunity. Naturally the youth would gravitate towards their “reality” which is spurious. Destruction is being preached (rapped) into them. Rap is just a part of the assembly line. Ruins lives is an litote, it destroys lives. One of the serpents main tools.
It’s not rap fault, stop placing blame on external factors. Before I broke the law I already knew the consequences. Some of my morals and principles are against the law. Hence why I’ll always blame myself for any legal problem I’m faced with.
