I am a brush person, probably due to the fact that I am a painter turned makeup enthusiast. I am a trained painter but not a trained makeup artist. When it comes to makeup, I have learned everything from RU-vid and it is a completely self-learn journey. I do believe that good quality brushes are very essential for a flawless makeup as brushes can change the application and look of any makeup product on our face.
Here I want to share one of my experience of brushes. I have a bronzer cum highlighter palette of the popular brand - makeup revolution which is also in collaboration with Roxxsaurus. The palette had many good reviews from many influencers whom I follow. But for my first trial the bronzer appeared quite patchy. I was very disappointed and decided to try other shades of the palette, but all turned out same. I was quite confused and then thought to try the products with different brushes. I switched to many different brushes that I had in my vanity and finally when I applied them with my Nyx brush, the result turned out so flawless that I couldn't believe my eyes for a while.
So brushes DO matter a lot!
Now a good brush should have three qualities -
🔸good quality bristles
🔸good shape and size
🔸lightweight with good gripe
For most of the very affordable brushes, I have noticed that their bristles are synthetic and don't pick up or blend the product properly.
In drugstore market of India, I think PAC brushes are of decent quality and also durable. So I have done this video only on the brushes of PAC cosmetics.
