WR & world's first 5.9M score achieved on this course on Sep 17, 2024!
So very recently, a player by the name of niiro found a new and improved route through the mazes. So after watching their replay, I felt motivated to try and improve my score with the new route. And wow, it was a big surprise that I improved all the way to 5.9M, was definitely not expecting this new route to yield this kind of score! I was only hoping to improve my score by about 20 or 30K! I don't think I'll try to improve this score in the near future, this run was good overall!

Thank you! I pretty much just used niiro's route. But at 1:05, instead of just bumping into the sleeping ghost and waiting for them to go away. I eat some dots to the left first so that way I can gain score while I wait for the sleeping ghosts to get out of the way. And I also caught every ghost quite quickly which gave me time to eat a lot of dots at the end and also gain another bomb. Also at 2:27, there's this trick I do to not make the ghost train angry here. You just gotta take every corner perfectly on this maze. Then you gotta turn upwards and that'll prevent the ghost train from getting angry and then you'll be able to eat it quite fast!
