For anyone still needing help getting the keyframe to loop, I had a lot of trouble too and found something that might help; In the editor, click the "no anim" option on the left (the starting animation) to get to the options, then right click the keyframe from there and set restart. That's what worked for me, just hoping this can help others!

the reason of lack of pac vids is got nothing really new to show. Most of everything is there on youtube. I just like bringing new pac ideas. Or things I use that I would like to show how I made to help others.

the issue i have is that i cant link the Walk animation (custom so it's in ragdoll pose) with the idle animation (custom too) so whenever i move, i t pose before doing an animation, any help?

This might just be me, but my PAC Just Jitters to a normal standing pose for a nanosecond and then goes to the Idle Animation, Any ideas what that might be? [ I am using Experimental Models due to having retextured a Model]

If your playermodel is visible in firstperson (Being able to see your body, including legs and arms if you look down), is it possible to make the firstperson playermodel play the animation? So that would mean you don't need a camera to see your results (So far, I got it working, its just that nothing changes when I look down)

I followed what you did but the animation still continues to loop from the beginning I put down the reset and start but it still continues I somehow got it to work thanks for the help now I’ll be able to use animations more!!

Whenever a make an animation for a specific weapon, it works correctly, until I choose a different weapon; then the animations are just bugged out.

Any advice if you want to put a timer on multiple idle animations? As in different animations playing when a certain amount of time has passed.

just make more keyframes on that animation set. If I were to do something like that, I'd do something of that idea.

Just click where I'm clicking and if should be fine.There isn't really a way to check if u are clicking the right thing since pac is iffy

Does the weapon class event work with all weapons? I've tried it with a specific weapon but it won't paste Edit: just realized you can type in the name of the weapon and it still works btw

Click the arrows in the middle of the xyz cursor. The middle ones are for rotating

@@itsalljewels still have no clue wut u means. I made the entire pac myself. If you mean like; as in the certain models like the wings/horns and other small things. The horns were given to a friend and the wings are from the pony model wings.

Copied everything off from your tutorial, made animation and inversed events, but when I equip my item, nothing shows up. Maybe there are settings I must turn on/off in order for animation to work? Because it's my 1st time and sadly nothing worked

this could be a problem of the events not being inverted or missing events. If your animation does work do check the events to see if that's the problem

Oh thats easy, for pac3 what you want to do is find Particles and mess around it to create the effect you want ( use sprites if you want ) and for sounds, search up goreby his custom sounds tutorial will help you (its 3 year old tutorial but it works)

The weapon class event, it's "find" should be set to none. (this is if you have no weapons at all and are using the hands SWEP)

This I am unsure of. Haven't touched my computer in a while. But I'm sure there is events for a reload/shoot.

Pick "animation_event" then in the find section, type reload The prop (Or sound, or effect whatever) will show/play when you reload. If instead of reload you type attack , it will show when you left click with your weapon. Idk for stopping animation, but hopefully it will help you anyway :)

You don't invert all the events. Only the ones I mentioned.

Ok I put the set start at the beginning and the set restart at the end of the second frame but it just goes through the whole 1st frame and 2nd frame and repeats

you might have to change the bones differently when it's doing the pre existing idle animation.

Well i was doing the whole thing like 4 times and IT don't work i mean IT don't work on finall results i have no idea why IT don't work but somehow when i invert the whole thing the event icons are changing to Red instead of blue

Only certain events needed to be inverted. Just keep changing them intill it works
