Join me on a hike up to the famous active (currently active 2022) volcano in Antigua, Guatemala - Volcano Papaya. Pacaya volcano. This volcano has some history! You can take some time to look it up or enjoy the history as you take a tour with a professional tour guide like we did! Youll hear a little bit about the history of it throughout my video.
This is the famous volcano in Guatemala that many tourists go up to enjoy some pizza that is baked with the lava / lava steam. Pretty wild! It was our intention to experience the volcano pizza (which btw its expensive. Like 80$ USD), however, we didn’t run into the local who runs his business up there the day that we went. Instead, we enjoyed some roasted marshmallows on this volcano, right before a crazy storm hit us.
Join us on a hike up / horse back ride up a volcano in beautiful Guatemala! This country has a lot to offer in terms of volcanoes, great food, and some exploring.
I’m very excited to share this video because it is one of the many travel vlogs I am finally sharing with you all. My most recent I should say, 2023 I got serious about filming my adventures during travel, and look forward to sharing them.

Ps. There ARE quetzals in Guatemala. The few people I met there who told me there weren’t any, gave me wrong info and I did not do enough research to back up my statement. I absolutely love birds, i admired them so much when I lived in Costa Rica, so sorry y’all! If you’re interested in learning about quetzals in Guatemala or the history of their quetzal money system, you can do some research and you’ll definitely learn some cool facts! As far as Guatemala City being dangerous, from all the places I’ve traveled I’ve learned that anywhere CAN be dangerous. Especially as tourists. Don’t let this comment intimidate you. We walked and explored the city during the day and enjoyed a lot of their shops, but during the night when we lost our Airbnb it was more sketch. My experience in this country was beautiful, & I hope you can enjoy what I captured for you all. At the end of the day, it’s simply MY experience I’m sharing. 🤍
