As a siberian tribe, migrate to North America, and become a steppe horde. The Europeans can never escape Tengri's glorious light, no matter how far away they run! Raise the horse hair banners, and run them down! Or, also neat idea, as a native American tribe, migrate to Asia and become emperor of china while staying native American culture, religion, maybe confucian, maybe totemist, maybe Aztec, who knows!
That was a great video. Much more enjoyable than the actual gameplay. I did my Sun God achievement run starting as the Aztecs, so that I can also get the Sunset Invasion achievement plus the one where you have to hit 95 doom and not hit 100 doom for like 20 years. It made my campaign a lot slower at first but at least the beginning was not so boring because I had to fight so many battles to manage my doom. Plus it saves me from having to play in the New World again. I did make the same experience as you though that once you have a decent navy you can ignore any and all AE, because the actual strong nations will never be able to land units to fight you. For that reason I took all islands, including Great Britain, Japan and Australia just for good measure and got some other achievements in the process like the one for 500 heavy ships without deficit.
lol I did it like 2 weeks ago but I started as Quito I had much more problem as Castille colonised La Plata, their +15% morale was awful while behind in techs and ideas before the 1600s but still, the incas were really fun to play ! (I also got the achievement for 10 provinces that produce gold btw)
One time I went for this achievment and i did not get it for the most bs of reasons. Apparently the falklands and some other small island is considered to be south america. worst part was that it was 1820 december, i took a hundered loans to get the last institution ruinning the campaign and then found out that the falklands were technically south america.
After 1600 this achievement is just to wait for colonists and institutions I did it a week ago. Had that same coalition with Portugal, Spain, France and England so annoying haha
