Too bad the recordings of popular songs in the 1960s didn't have more tracks. So many of these recordings have the instrumentals way too loud, drowning out the beautiful voice of a talented singer. Judith Durham, Linda Ronstadt and Judy Collins come readily to mind, but there were many more.
@@davegaetano7118 I totally agreed with what you say, and somehow, these old recordings have that something that makes them "special" . Old records of Delta Blues music from the 20's and 30's are magic in that regard.(Son House for example) Thanks for commenting, have a great day
