This combination of the Giant City and untouched nature is beautyful :)

I've been through 45 of the 50 states, and by far, this is the most beautiful stretch I'd say there is.

I actually took this ride myself on 12/25/85.

Just found your channel ... nice road trip videos. I usually watch the road trips that are recorded in time lapsed, this is a good alternative ... real time...and as an enthusiast of the road trip, it's very relaxing to watch. Thank you. I live in San Francisco and often drive south to SLO county... Once I year I drive to Palm Springs or just to L.A.. As a kid I loved driving with my Mom to Mexicali from L.A. or when My Dad would take us to either Glamis or Pismo Beach (living in Southern Cal as a Kid). If you take requests ... a good nostalgic trip to Glamis or even Calexico ... but using hwy 111 ... I love the dips in the road while skirting the Salton Sea. Again, thank you for posting these road trips. :)

Thanks for doing this video. We may be going this route for vacation and i was curious how traffic is like on this road.
