A month or two back my friend says "are we on PCH?" I'm like "no, we are nowhere near it. Why do you ask that?" And he laughs and says "we just passed a PCH hot dog place." Now I can tell him it is, in fact, NOT Pacific coast highway, but Pacific Coast HOTDOGS.
Adam, really loving these discovery adventures you’re filming. Reminds me of those great Huell Howser clips of various cities and interesting locations. Keep up the wonderful episodes. Truly unique, insightful and your personality is engaging. Best of luck! Will keep tuning in each time I get a notification 🛎 notice.
Ladies and Gentlemen! For all his years of expanding the knowledge base of everyone who watches his videos, I hereby nominate Adam The Woo for the 2020 Nobel Peace Prize! Let the voices of those who agree be heard far and wide! Stay safe and travel on my friend, travel on indeed!
I highly recommend hitting up Zankou Chicken in Anaheim. They also have a W I L D back story / history........please hit them up! Also, Im loving this series I hope you continue 🙏🏽
I have a fav hotdog place in my hometown that’s a serious tradition for my family, so I love a great hotdog stand! PCH looks tasty, indeed. 🌭 Thanks Adam.👍🏼🤘🏼😎
This series is quickly starting to become my favorite thing to watch on RU-vid each day! I think you should continue this even after everything is back to normal, you can mix it in with your regular travel and theme park videos, these are fun! Great work once again! Back in the day I would occasionally miss an episode or two, I haven't missed an episode this entire series!
PCH, I know many people think of the infamous sweepstakes and big checks when they hear that acronym. But it means delicious hot dogs in this case. Jersey Mike's in the background? I know they're trembling in fear to be in the presence of PCH
Damn Adam, next episode is gonna be at my doorstep! This is my neighborhood. As in I literally live off of prospect. I got to the In N Out across the street all the time. That Stater Bros. across the street is my Stater Bros. That Dollar General in the lot used to be my Blockbuster video back in the day. But I've never in all the thousands of times I've passed it eaten at PCH. I might need to correct that.
That's it, I'm done with everything going on. I'm going to fly out to California and hang out with Adam the Woo, going from place to place eating stuff. Digestion be damned. I'm sure he won't mind some old bat following him around. (just kidding, not a psychopath - yet.) :D :D :D
Please don't stop doing these videos, I can not wait to watch your videos every day and eat with you! One more thing, please eat how ever you want, there is no wrong way to eat your food!! Combine peanut butter and jelly with ham if you want too, just be you 😊
Hey Adam thanks for being consistent with the uploads. I'm really digging these reviews and it lets us escape for a little while during these crazy times.
In the 2nd grade in Grand Rapids, Michigan, (50’s) our class went to the Armour Star factory where they made hot dogs. We got to see how it was done. We got a hot dog and milk after the tour. Thanks doing all of your eateries. Brings back good memories.
The sour kraut dog and chili dog... awesome! We've driven all around that area when visiting Disneyland but missed that place. Now that we know the address we definitely will be checking it out next time! Thanks for bringing us along on your food journey today! We just finished a cold beef hotdog... now I'm wishing we had some kraut on it 🤗
Anyone remember *Wimpi's* in Huntington Beach? That was a great place to eat and hang out. Of course people were having actual fun so it was torn down and the ground it was on was scraped. How dare people have fun!
If you want a real Chicago Dog it must be a Vienna Beef Hotdog. There is a Portillo's ( a iconic Chicago chain) in Buena Park. You should be able to get a real Chicago Dog there. You have made me hotdog hungry. I'm off to Portillo's here in the Chicago area.
Love the video Adam . That PCH Hodogs looks awesome .. wish we had one in Central Florida. I would go with the Chili Dog and the Kraut Dog... my gosh they look yummy !! mmm mmm
Hello: Well Mr. Woo this is really, really great series you are doing. Wish I was there to eat with you !!!! There is Chili and then there is real Chili.
Cool place, have to check that out. Say, I'm a humble vloger, and my wife and I really enjoy your adventures and content. If you're ever up in Monrovia, CA, hit us up. We visit a taco place we think you'd really like, should you be up for the drive from Orange County.
Hey Adam, have you been to CHRIS AND PITTS BBQ IN BELLFLOWER CALIFORNIA? It's the original one,has been there for decades. The food is ridiculously good and so are their homemade salad dressings and the onion rings are to die for! They have one in Downey, but the Bellflower location is the BEST!! You have to try it! And JULIANS IN HAWAIIAN GARDENS.
GF: you good? Me: *remembering past videos* - Jollibee - Wahoo’s Fish Taco Stand - Alhambra - Original 1951 Best Pastrami - Omega Drive In of Orange and now....Pacific Coast Hot Dogs Me:*Heavy Breathing* Me: yeep im good babe
Hey Buddy,...thought this one would be cool for the series, its been in a lot of movies, one of my favorites The Fast and Furious with Paul Walker and Vin Diesel NEPTUNES NET.( The shrimp scene on the PCH) Roll safe brother ... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neptune%27s_Net OK,.. I gotta say this is uncanny or scary,...not sure,...lots of times when you make a video of some obscure random happening, in total unknowing synchronization I do nearly the exact thing, then tune in and see you doing it. I had made an assortment of hot dogs with the toppings seen here, late night your time technically the day before,EST. so then you go and do that a few hours later... Chili and Cheese, Onion flavored Kraut and Cheese, Mustard and cheese,..all with extra extra extra cheese...when these things happen, ( over the years too many to mention) what are the chances of all that? Dont answer,...there is nothing that can be done about it,...it is a mystery for all time,...one even ATW cannot unravel. Now I`m thinking you already visted NEPTUNES NET today,....Try the Shrimp Basket with tartar and cocktail sauce,....
Yummy. We almost went there on Saturday, but my dad decided that we should go to John's Place on Chapman Ave instead. He thought it would be crowded in Orange, but hopefully we will check it out very soon.:)
Every place has different rules about photography.. Once a McD manager told us not to photograph his restaurant. ??? A manager of a Sonic came out and told us the history of the place....Many are more sensitive about photographs inside, but its always good to ask.
I just randomly watch episode "TDW 1300 - Kicked Off Property for Filming", it was the mystery fun house you visited as a kid. It showed up in my news feed. I must say that stressed me out some hehe
Nothing better than a local hot dog joint if it's done right - and I'd say since he's been there 25 years, he's doing something right. At my now advanced age, owning such a place sounds a more appealing choice for a living all the time. Coincidentally, a legendary old drive-in that used to be in this town had the best chili dogs I've ever tasted and from the scuttlebutt around town, I'm not alone in that opinion. When the place burned to the ground years ago, the recipe for that chili went home with the owner, who subsequently passed away, leaving his wife as keeper of the secret. Years later - the recipe has been leaked and I actually cooked up a batch night before last. It was freaking amazing, a real blast from the past - just as good as I remembered it. Gets a fella thinking about opening up a hot dog stand.... :-) Be safe out there Adam, -Ed on the Ridge
Another great food adventure, Adam. You are getting me hungry every day. Not sure if you’re interested in suggestions but what the hay. Have you ever tried Kogi BBQ? The store is in the Palms area of West L.A. but the truck fleet roams SoCal. Check their website Kogibbq.com for the schedule and locations. An absolute must for first time is a short rib taco, the rest is up to you, the site has a menu. OK, you’re on a hot dog kick, the Kogi Dog is awesome too. Loving the series and thanks! Stay safe and healthy.
Love this series! You should visit King Taco, there are several locations around LA County (not sure about OC). But their burritos, sopes and green salsa are delicious! 🔥🌮🌯
Hi Adam! Enjoying this series. I sure could go for a Pastrami Sandwich but I think they don’t know what it is here in SE Georgia! When I lived up north I worked in NYC, for lunch we would go to a Deli for Pastrami on rye bread with sauerkraut and mustard and a ice cold root beer to wash it down. Delicious!! Your Cat wall clock is awesome! Keep on keeping on. God bless you.
you know what would be cool, since you are doing the series. Try to find some of the old food stands that they used in The Rockford Files. Jim Rockford in almost every episode ate lunch at a cool food stand
