Not to take away from the absolutely awesome game, but whoever put together the trailer deserves mad recognition. I haven't been excited for a game in five or so years. This looks so unique and fun!!
As somebody who visted the Pacific Northwest during the pandemic (and witnessing Seattle in a near post apocalyptic state), I am preordering this game. Beyond excited.
Been following this game since its announcement trailer and I am SO excited for its launch in February. It is criminally under recognized at the moment and I hope you all make a huge splash in the rougelite community with this unique take on the gameplay! I cannot wait and will be picking this up on day 1!
I think this is my favorite trailer! Ever… the sound and communication of story and gameplay are so so well done! Pretty hype for the game :) so far you’ve made a beautiful thing
Loved The Trailer, super stoked for it, and it gave us many new teasers to think about. Super stoked and happy to have a Release Date! Keep up the good work
I’m glad it randomly popped in my PS store maybe a day after it was released, because I didn’t knew this masterpiece existed I just watch not even 5 mins of the random gameplay and decided to buy it - it was the best decision I have made, love this game 💙
I was a car hobo for a significant portion of my life, and also a trucker... I can see many nights ahead of just chilling in the car listening to the radio with the rain pouring down.
Definitely excited for it as someone who had an old 1987 Buick Century that I would take road trips in and loved that car. Love the anomalies as well, reminds me of Into The Radius but on a larger scale. I don't pre-order games much but I couldn't pass it up. Hopefully VR at a later date because it looks like it would translate well.
What a great concept! We know that we need to upgrade our car and keep it fueled and repaired. Do you also have any sort or survival mechanics for the player? - Like hunger, sleep, thirst, food etc Will there be incentives for the player to park the car and explore on foot occasionally?
Oh man, I haven't been this excited for a game in a very long time, already preordered the Deluxe version on steam, and props to just everybody involved man you can really tell everyone who worked on this game had a blast
Holy shit this is a good trailer. Buddy of mine sent me this game on steam, and I had to come here so I could comment on the trailer. Amazing composition and editing in addition to a seemingly excellent take on the core gameplay loop. Looking forward to this one for sure!
RU-vidr #IGP played the first hour of this and omg im HOOKED. One thing he said stands out to me and says a lot: "Oh my God the sky is BEAUTIFUL... I'm going to die...." It was said with such awe and then an undertone of 'sigh, it is what it is, my death...' like he was okay with dying because of the beauty he was seeing. Never have seen that kind of response to a game action before and it just.... I dunno... just was so /real/. Only way I can describe it. I'm almost home from work and I'm going to pre-order the minute I get situated. It was added to my steam cart before his trial play was 1/4 done. This is stunning, devs. Stunning.
Looks great but it has to have long travel shocks, lifting kits and off-road tyres. And bull bars!!! Don't care if people say it's mad-max style. In any world ending event it'd be the first thing I'd do!
SO EXCITED FOR THIS!!!!!! I've been following this game since you guys announced it back in Sony's state of play. Just want you to know that I'm rooting for your guys' success and I think this will be amazing for your debut game
I have a question, will be like more a open-world in the zone or can you choose where you spawn in little area of the zone and you have to escape and rechoose if you want to change biome?
I just watched IGP's showcase of the game. Literally bought it within an hour of finishing the video. Is there going to be planned DLC to expand map zones and such?
I'm really glad I only caught wind of this game yesterday while perusing Next Fest entries, because I don't know if I could stand having to wait any longer to play it. Absolutely sold from the trailers and the demo just sealed the deal. Amazing job, y'all!
I am so STOKED for this game!!! I just discovered it with Splatter Cat's preview and I pre-ordered it immediately. I haven't pre-ordered a game in more than 20 years!
Just watched igp play this and it looked like so much fun but now I'm disappointed i won't be able to play it myself cause i play on xbox is there a reason for not releasing on xbox
This is what I wanted, a calm driving sim with occasional disasters, it's like you are driving through Chernobyl from Stalker but cooler. And the art style of the world and inside of the car is so pleasing but from what I saw the crafting interface in the build is too crammed with details, will need to check that in game. Already bought a deluxe version on epic and waiting.
This game looks perfect, I hope that they decide to do another game like this but road of the dead themed it would be a beautiful site to see. already preordered the deluxe edition! so far beta gameplay looks great, and the trailer hits so good.
Just a heads up: the game barely runs at 30fps on PS5 and the devs have now said there are no plans of a 60fps performance mode. Wish they would have told us before I spent money on the game.
I'm actually supristed that with size of gaming industry it's first game (counting 3/3 trailers i've seen) that i'm really hyped about and had to rewatch few times including the fact that it's just perfectly composed. Starting from music through visuals and having vehicle driven (haha, see what i did ther) stalker-alike gameplay feel. If that was first trailer and/or any information about this product i would just jump to conclusion that it must be a trap with this amount of fidelity presented, but with everything i think istead it will be next best singleplayer game that i will have chance to play. Never before i've been this comfortable about pre-purchasing something. I hope you'll also have chance to add cooperation too in future and have the chance to sit at the same table as Deep Rock Galactic and Lethal Company are.
Currently sitting in my library the first game I've actually preordered. Seeing the review copy I've seen a number of streamers playing I'm very confident for the end result and this game will live up to the hype.
