I don't think it's possible to overstate how deeply affected I am by this song. Enraptured. Deeply stirred to my soul. Overcome by multiple deep competing emotions. Breathtakingly blown away. And still I wish I had more expressive language to better express both how I feel after listening to this song and the gratitude I feel to these incredible talented musicians. Performances like these come around once in a lifetime, and we are Blessed to beat witness to them. 💖

A wonderfully poignant song. I had just lost my father when I first heard this song and then sadly lost my mother a few weeks later. I played this during the funeral procession as we exited the service with both coffins as it was a double burial. I couldn't think of or wished for a more fitting song to send them off to. Thank you, Kandace and the PJO.
This piece almost brings tears. Such an emotional delivery with such intensity. This is at the top of her vocal range, but the song still works. What a classy woman.What talent. We saw her at the Marcus Theater in Milwaukee this spring. She was the highlight of our trip along with walking along the shore of my beloved Lake Michigan. 😢

I was brought to tears by this song. The lyrics and sentiments reminded me very much of how I felt when I said goodbye to the love of my life on June 11, 2023. After a courageous battle with ovarian cancer for over two years, she succumbed to its will. She is forever in my heart as her strong spirit lives on with me. I will share this beautiful song with her. Thank you for this beautiful moment. I will share this with my friends who knew her and how difficult of a journey it was for her.

I had that privilege in a small venue in Portland, Oregon. Her presence - and that voice! - filled the room. I highly recommend seeing her live. She is the real thing. No airs, no BS, just an extraordinary, soulful artist sharing her talent with the audience.

Such a beautifu; song. First time I heard it was on the anniversy of my best friend's death. She had past away from cancer.. I just couldn't stop crying.
Next time, move the camera so we get to see the singer's face. She is, after all, the star here. We shouldn't have to wait five minutes to see her sing.
I'm sure she asked for privacy, since she is singing about her Dad. She doesn't want to cry in front of the camera, or just in case she cries, she doesn't want anyone to see her face as she sings and possibly cries. I'm rambling, sorry.
It’s ironic that the we don’t get a close up of Kandice’ face until 4 and a half minutes in yet we get repeated shots of the conductor and instruments.

Kandace is indeed as *marvelous* as her gifted father, my App State friend “Scat.” I’ve long admired Kandace’s work- she is stellar on this. 🙏🏽 GORGEOUS, rich tribute.. to any precious loved one who’s no longer in this realm with us.. I thought of my own father. I know Scat/Kenneth is smiling down from heaven at his amazing daughter. 💜 I truly wish to hear MORE from this beautiful, talented young lady!
