You give an in depth forecast I haven't seen elsewhere. As well, your genuine interest is apparent. Finally, an enjoyable personality makes it all a pleasant experience. A formula for success. Congratulations.
I live on an island in SE Alaska and it helps me a lot when you show SE on the model runs. Unfortunately our area gets cut out of the frame quite often.
Could you do a more in depth explanation of the European AI model sometime? I really don’t know much about AI, and especially as it affects weather forecasting. What makes it different from the regular European model? Is it supposed to be better? Anyway, you have referenced the AI model several times recently and I am clueless about it.
We went from 89* for this Saturday to 72* over the course of a week. These long range forecasts keep holding onto something that greatly over states how warm it is going to be 6 - 14 days out. Yes I know it is a forecast, and it can be off, but what I am getting at is the Nat Weather service seems to be forcing these much warmer than normal long range forecast. There is no way they can be constantly off, and not be adjusted to reflect the new data. La Nina is obviously in control right now, so I do wonder if this is going to be a thrill ride of a Fall/Winter. Its been a while since we have had an overall harsh winter. Heck even fall has been more like summer until the 3rd week of October the last 10 years. Farmers Almanac is showing cooler summer thus far.
Thank you so very much for your update and I am so glad you made it home safely and I hope you have a chance to relax and enjoy your day. I worry about you pushing yourself to get this all out to us . 👍🙏🌎
Here in E WA I can’t help but think - more weather whiplash. Maybe not as radical as earlier in the season but definitely discernible. Especially with your help - thank you.
Hate it when that happens, man. Turns otherwise bright sunny day into partly hazy. How often do you get the aviation clouds over there on the west side?
Interesting. I had thought that the more populated areas on the wet side were spared the eye sore. When I visit Seattle area which isn't often is clear skies. Have u noticed any kind of pattern?
