Considering the direction the Mv is going in let them do the crossover at this point imao. (I already know the jaegers are gonna be torn apart lol) Overall pretty damn good epic mix
@XShadowzVarcolac technically MG is not a Jaeger, when we first saw him he was only controlled by one person, and when Holow earth energy got into mgs system it killed the pilot and now controls itself.
I do. I like Godzilla and Kong but they aren't enough for the Monsterverse in my humble opinion, it needs more monsters besides the two. And apart from the Monsterverse creating it's own original monsters I want to see more monsters from Toho and other properties outside Toho like Gamera from Kadokawa and obviously Pacific Rim which Legendary already owns, but it has to crossover with the OG Pacific Rim. I like the Monsterverse but I always feel that it is missing or lacking something more, it's marketed as a Cinematic Universe or Shared Universe but the only monsters I've seen thus far in it are Godzilla, King Ghidorah, Mothra, Rodan and Mechagodzilla from Toho, Kong from Universal and the Merian C. Cooper estate and a bunch of other original monsters. However ever since Kong was introduced back in 2017, the series was officially called the Monsterverse around the same time and King Ghidorah, Mothra and Rodan were also introduced in 2019, I was under the initial impression that this Monsterverse would continue to bring in and crossover other monsters from other different movie studios and properties. So far it hasn't quite showed that yet but we'll see what happens in the future.
Sooooo I agree… if they were bigger… I made a dnd multiverse campaign with some friends and wanted to do this crossover. Did m some research to plan everything out. Then I found out Godzilla is 3x the size of Godzilla
Pretty sure that Godzilla in the monsterverse would actually be impressed that humans in Pacific Rim held their own that well against a rouge, evil version of his species, he would probably even team up with Gypsy Danger RETURN THE BEST GAL IN PACIFIC RIM AND LET HER MEET BIG G GODZILLA DAMMIT
This hits different, man. They need to make a pacific rim/ monsterverse crossover with Gillermo del toro and Gareth Edward, would be the most amazing and badass movie ever made.

Think about it, there can be a crossover between different universes of the same franchises or something like that so the original can still be their own thing. Idk, but unlike you, much people does want to see a crossover:) Btw, it was one of the plans for the Pacific Rim franchise, making that crossover with the Monsterverse.
U are right. They should keep separated. If they merge, then expect for single release for a year. If unmerge perhaps you can wait for 2 different release per year. Now post covid nowadays less movie released. Agree with @spark0661 too
@Scottomatic_ only a miracle can save the franchise after the second movie, I'd rather have a prequel (I love prequels so much), or a new second movie honestly, so we all forget that Uprising existed
They could bring the slower bulky jaegars back by saying that the fast, light frames were too weak so they went back to the old style. In uprising we see the new jaegars get ripped to shreds really easy so this could make sense.
I can’t stop imagining an alternate ending to Pacific rim where a bunch of alerts start blaring saying that another category 5 was making its way to the breach. At first everyone is confused thinking that another 5 got through the breach or worse another breach opened. But then even the Kaiju start looking scared with the two 4s backing up and clearly contemplating running. And then at the peak of tension something moves in the black of the ocean, blue light starts moving from a tail up back spines and slowly the figure of the king of monsters himself becomes visible as he unleashes a blast of atomic fire.
It is a misopportunity that these 2 franchise didn't get a crossover already... King of monsters, sometimes still need supports from the underlings. Pacific Rim robots can provide that support, so if they do a crossover, it need to have a much stronger monster that power rivals both King Kong & Godzilla, which not even teamwork can surpass the opponent. But the humans manage to find the weakness the villain, and act accordingly to help the 2 monsters
I love that people associate Kong and Godzilla's team up theme as Here We Go, by Chris Classic. It's a perfect fit cause who ever is against both of them they're in for the as whopping of a lifetime.

dude this had me craving a Pacific Rim/Monsterverse crossover so bad. Ireally didn't think the Pacific theme could get more of a banguer but this hits so hard
u know what funny,they actually make a pacific rim cameo in GxK kinda spoil a bit here tho but when godzilla sleeping at Rome Colosseum,at the bridge we saw a gaffiti of fat godzilla,a turtle(TMNT cameo) and a knifehead(pacific rim kaiju)
There are music that were born to be combined with others and this combination is one of them. This is a perfect example that the combination of two great songs can result in something much better and catchier. ✨👌

considering both the monsterverse and pacific rim are owned by legendary, a godzilla crossover would be very plausible since the kaijus disturb the natural balance

If this crossover were to happen. Best course of action would be to do a rebooted Pacific Rim movie. Call it "Pacific Rim: Monsterverse". It would pickup on the first two generations of Jeager's that are trying to bring down the titans. But despite their best efforts, no Jeager can come close to taking on either Godzilla or Kong. As any Jeager that faced them gets destroyed. That is until the arrival of a brand new 3rd Generation Jaeger, that is able to kill Rodan. That Jaeger: Gipsy Danger.
Imagine at the end of GxK we see a postcredit scene with Gipsy danger, at the and it plays the Pacific rim theme. That would break the Internet. Then, at the end of the next Pacific rim, when they escape the precursors dimension, they end up in the mv. They could use the precursors as a way to bring destroyah like as an ultimate weapon
someone needs to do an animated battle with Godzilla, Kong and Gipsy danger just running into battle to kick alien kaiju ass. with this mixe cover playing.

Pacific Rim x MV would be peak, but honestly, any mech teaming up with the Titans of the MV would be great just because of the idea of humanity fighting directly side-by-side with these monsters would be awesome.
