Waiting for big time kiwi Hollywood film directors like Taika to take the time to make films about the stories of real superheroes like these two men.

My great great grandpa was in WW1 from the Pacific island of Tonga. I don't agree knowing how and what these wars represented. But I give my respect to these brave men and woman that put there lives on the line.

These beautiful Pasifika Island nations should have never been dragged into these greedy colonising wars.

They weren't dragged in they volunteered big difference same as Maori read the treaty of Waitangi king and country

@@joelmonkley6177 lol… coerced, strong-armed or tricked. “Rua Kenana told his people not to go to war, let the white man fight the white man’s war”. These heroes returned home as second and third-class citizens and had their land stolen by the NZ government. There weren’t enough males to fight the thuggery and criminal government after they sacrificed their lives for the country and people of the country. What a tragedy!

Why do the Maori Battalion get so much Attention My Farther was a part of J Force in Japan You hear nothing historically about them' Cultural appreciation' The Woke' will only tell you what they want you to hear!!

Perhaps they get more attention, but the 28th was an important part of NZs social development. It demonstrated that we were in it together. There was more to it than but I think that is one main reasons. Also lets not forget that NZ history was poorly taught and often taught events far from the truth or with a prejudice that did Maori no favours.
