Great interview. I'm trying various approaches and realise non of them will be very effective if I don't pace properly. Thank you.

Loved your interview. The use of energy in many different facets and pacing have been the two main issues that have kept me in this hole for 25 years. Onwards and upwards. Thank you 🙏

Another great video, thank you, good work. I learned "pacing" some years ago, but it wasn't adequate, I had to, with help, move away, onwards from 'pacing' per se. I twigged that there are four levels of fatigue (for me); Physical, Mental, Emotional and "Spiritual". What I find a challenge is sleep and dealing with the day to day 💩 that the world throws at us (as an adult just keeping a roof over our heads is a challenge). Also a partner that doesn't understand or allow a sufferer to use their "tools", their intuition etc to manage their energy (and fatigue), no matter how well meaning the partner is. Stress and worry doesn't help, especially post SARS2, with the scary, weird, wonderful symptoms. IF we'd been told the truth about SARS2, Long Covid, the vaccine, how long virus lasts on surfaces, that the illness was an aerosol etc etc, then we could make a risk assessment, rather than being on red or amber alert all of the time. I think that tptb have been deliberately cruel in that regard and others. Everything is information though, even our symptoms and energy/fatigue, plus 'this' can be a gift to help us improve ancient traits and problems.

Glad you enjoyed this one! You’re so right there is a next level up from pacing and that’s working out what your triggers are and what type of rest you need and when. Not easy by any means. Communicating with partner and family can be so hard, but ultimately we are the ones living with this illness every day. Over time we have become experts in listening to our bodies, so I often make it clear that if something is “too much” or I can “do more” that’s my decision. Stress is a huge trigger for me too, but not only do we deal with the day to day stress of modern life, but also the stress of managing our illness too. I’ve started taking a break after something that I feel has been emotionally or socially draining, but it’s very hard to measure.

@@naimaella Wise words, it's taken me several years to work such out with other fatigue related illnesses, prior to Long Covid. It sounds like you've made amazing progress, in terms of personal development as well as health management. I know that there's a spiritual element to personal growth, but having an illness - even though many shamens and spiritual people do - is a huge challenge. For me it's like the apocryphal, snakes and ladders, I'd gotten to square '85' then caught Covid and went back to square 1. I guess I'm at square 25 now (using that analogy), it's tough though. I think I'm right in saying that there are 3 million of us with it in the UK, but help is thin on the ground. Other countries seem to have a better handle on it. Some days though, I see a glimmer of light and thank, 'God', the universe, that great force for my life, the learning etc, that makes things a bit easier. I've a few friends in similar circumstances too. Truly extraordinary times.

@@musoseven8218 yes this illness definitely forces you to confront things you've been hiding from. But I'm definitely not at the stage where I'm glad it has happened lol. You must not have been at square one if you had already gone through that much personal growth. Even if it felt like it at the time! I think health care systems really suffer with issues that are chronic and uncertain without a clear end date. Which is what we fit into. I see the glimmers of light and hope too, though not every day. I hope you continue to improve! Thanks for your thoughtful comments 🙂
