those rules and regulations are there to protect both fighters and to minimise life threatening injuries, that rule has been in force for a long time and Brooks knew about it, he was very lucky not to snap Pacios neck

You cannot use takedowns like this if you can't control the impact. We need to understand that Joshua is not ok, even though he was cleared. It did not cause a life changing injury (paraplegia/quadriplegia), but his cervical spine is damaged...this will show up later in life. Inexcusable in a physical therapist opinion.

He keeps trying the kimura lock in his defense because he knows brooks wont slam him that way because its illegal, just like putting the back of youre head infront so that he cant punch you. They are fighting on Global MMA ruleset. This is not the first time ONE had such ruling. Even Christian Lee was DQ'd because of the same thing. ONE's statement that time was "At ONE Championship, all variations of suplexes are illegal and any attempt or intent results in an automatic disqualification."

Joshua held on to the kimura. The rules state if someone holds on to a submission they can be slammed in any manner. This was Pacios fault 100% he could have planted his hands instead he held on to the submission just ate the takedown. ONE needs to correct this shameful decision. What a disgrace.

Why don’t you read the rules. He held on a submission hold (Kimura) instead of letting go of his arm to plant his hands he chose to hold onto the shoulder lock. The rule is clearly states if the person locks up a submission, the other fighter can slam him in any fashion.

This is absolutely bad refereeing. The referee did not see it and it was actually a slam gone bad by accident cos Joshua resisted it causing his own head to sway off. The real decision must be “no contest”. Joshua shud not accept the belt if he is a gentleman. A rematch is the answer otherwise he is a shameful champion.

Herbs Dean did not stop the fight because of the take down, he stopped it for punches to the back of the head, then they desqualified Brooks claiming that the take down was ilegal. Pacio was done and I believe he's not a match for Brooks. Brooks is a beast.

Disqualification means to make ineligible for a prize or for further competition because of violations of the rules. IT IS NOT A LOST! ONE championship is unfair. Moreover it was a slam gone bad cos Jos tug his head to release Jar’s grip. Result is NO Contest! Spike is vertical but this action is circular
