Best tip of any "pack with me" carry on only videos is the rule "No just in case items." That always causes over packing and lugging around items you don't need or won't wear on your trip. Also, the idea of packing things because you just don't know what mood you will be in for what to wear so I end up taking something I won't wear. Know what you like alto wear at home, think about what you might be doing on your trip and don't be afraid of wearing something more than once. With many of us working from home and going out less I am sure most people wear the same thing more than once. Think comfortable, think classic. Plan specific mix and match items. You will be less stressed and relaxed. Be confident with your choices and minimalism. Think light weight.
Its a bit weird but I always seem to have more clothing then I actualy use because its the norm. I usually have 5 tot 10 key outfits I always wear and wear like what? 3 outfits a week andi have 1 lounge outfit. I think even for a week trip you do not need thatmuch unless you normally have a different outfit ever day or multable outfits a day.
Completely agree! There are always some typical go-to pieces that we reach for again and again, and I think it's a fun experiment to track that so we can determine why those are our go-to pieces, to get a better sense of our style preferences. Plus it just makes getting dressed/packing for a trip super easy!
I stopped using traditional packing cubes or pouches for the smaller items, instead I use the bags that I am going to want to take on my trip like packing underthings and socks into my "daybag" or a travel towel into a drybag instead of the pouch it comes with so I can use the drybag at the beach to protect my valuables. Hope that makes sense!
