@@lehlogonolonolo9761 Hey, J1 visa is for 1 year but if you finish your first year successfully the US government allows au pairs to extend. You’d have to go back home after two years and if your age still allows you to come back then you can come back if you want to.

@@lehlogonolonolo9761 you’re welcome ♥️ I’ve never been to that part of ny! Google and check if it’s New York State or a part of New York City cause there’s a difference. Also at your visa interview don’t mention that you want to be here for two years just say a year even though you know you’d eventually extend. So yeah Google thing’s to do, how far is public transportation! Cause for the fact that they are telling you that you are gonna drive sometimes indicates to me that you might take public transportation more often.. my best advice would be to ask yourself what is it that you truly want? Do you wanna drive full time ? Are you ok with driving sometimes? Or do you not want to drive at all.. always stick to your goals and desires. Public transportation can be so costly to be honest ♥️ but I wish you all the best with finding your match.
