Packer was essentially created to show fans that Michael could always be worse before they made Michael a likable character

In the first half of my career I knew more than just a handful of salesmen just like Packer. They didn't care about personal embarrassment, perpetually sophomoric, "no" was not a discouraging word to them, miraculously able to close sales that seemed inclosable to others, and able to be successful enough that the company overlooked most of "lack of discretion" events at least for awhile. Every single one of these Packer types washed out, some while still in sales positions but most once promoted to a leadership position. For the past 15 years, however, I haven't heard of any Packer type being kept on after a single lack of discretion event.

How packer scored the twins even after he opened his mouth is a mystery to me😮😮

It’s funny how many red flags the dude gives off for Michael to not associate with him, but Michael is just too desperate for any friend. Thank god he finally did stand up to him when it came to Holly and got him out of his life.
