Was able to be there tonight, correct on the bad music 🤣🤣🤣 , huge ovation for love when they interviewed him. Fan base is behind him ! Nice to have pass catching weapons at tight end . Great to see Carlson do well , probably going to have a few games come down to field goals like every year, #GoPackGo
Love that the final drive he used every guy he will need all year. Doubs, Musgrave, Reed and Watson. That will be the starring weapons all year, hopefully. I'm fairly confident those guys will all be big time players for years to come, not to mention Kraft, Wicks and Toure who will all contribute along the way. I see a very bright future for this offense, it just might be 2024 before they get it all together consistently. I just wanna see growth and improvement all season. I love the mystery of it all. As always GPG !!!
Glad to see Carpenter doing well. Larrivee said there's a pckg for him, like Raven Greene? McDuffie played well at the end of the season and flashed this TC. Getting both of them snaps will keep Campbell fresh and maybe free up Quay to play Edge on a few plays where he can utilize his athleticism.
Accuracy must be a consistency of throwing method issue. He is going to have to commit to doing it the right way time after time for a long while before it is routine. He has the ability.
Thx for this Andy, as a Canuck I was too lazy to look for a stream. Knew you would come through for us. I wouldn't be worried about Love and the Oline too much since the defense should be really good....BUT I've given up on trusting the preseason D to show up in the regular season. GPG.
I figure that he had the jitters stepping on the field for the 1st time in front of 70k as QB1. He'll settle down and become more consistent once he becomes comfortable in the position.
Also my heart breaks for David, he seems clearly distraught when the ACL was mentioned. Def is something he was struggling mentally with for a little bit. And also it was the Washington game in case you were curious, I remember because I just got my 69 jersey and he wasn't there :/ Praying, for his personal sake, his knee becomes consistent, let alone football
As much as bears fans were talking on twitter last night u would of thought love went 2/15 and was awful 😂😂 i couldnt watch it but im sure he played decent and without having bak and jenkins thats pretty good. Its only training camp still a month worth of practice/preseason to go he will improve
Could Meyers be better playing either G spot rather than C? Ik Tom says he most comfortable outside, but his build would best suit working from the inside imo.
The knock on Love coming out of college was poor accuracy, and it’s still poor accuracy 3 years later. It’s just something we’re going to have to live with. Plus, Love is following arguably the most accurate QB in NFL history, so it’s going to stand out even more.
RIGHT. just gonna have to live with the fact that we're not at all likely to have another QB who throws 4:1 TD/INT. Jordan could be awesome but he will very likely never be able to replicate that. Maybe he does well but to expect him to be as accurate as Rodgers would be starting him from a deficit.
I think the Bahktiari talk is overblown. He is able to turn it on for games, as proven last year, so he's getting veteran rest day every other day. Until it affects his play then we can Worry
I get that. But I think this year, having Jordan is different. The offense will also be much different, Rodgers called a lot of his favorite plays. The cadances will be different. Bakh is really good at timing those snaps, almost to the point of being false start, but now it will be different
sounds like timing issues. timing will come with game play experience and more playing time. he still vet rookie..he didnt do much all 3 yrs behind rodgers beside coming in. sounds like he can hit simple throw and short throw. deeper throws may need time develop.
Maybe that's why Rodgers took a $35 Million payout to help Jets be able to pick up a great player at trade deadline. Hmmm He and Bak are best friends.....
Gonna be honest, 69’s situation has run its course with me. I’m just tired of dealing with the “will he or won’t he play today” stuff. The best ability is availability & unfortunately 69 is no longer reliable. Cut or trade him for whatever you can get & move on.
The tv coverage was awful I tuned in to see one on one eleven on eleven etc. all we got was interview after interview I even muted the TV it was so sickening I wanted to see the players play , who was in there and we got none of that it was only not worth watching the TV coverage
Anders Carlson was not perfect as I believe he had 2 missed field goals- the field goal at the end of the game was obvious wide right and the officials called it good (maybe they just didn't want a re-kick)? I orinally thought he missed it and since I had recorded the game I went back to replay it in slow motion and found that it didn't go through the uprights but was wide right as the ball disappeared as tha ball disappeared when it went ny the right upright. The other niss happened earlier in the game wner where it looked wide right again, but that kick was high enough to go over the upright so I can't be sure. Take a look at the film. Crosby was losing leg strength as was obvious by him not getting touchbacks by kicking it into the endzone on kickoffs, but now with the new kickoff rule it really doesn't make a difference! Maybe the Packers front office might reconsider whether they want to keep him one nore year?
They have Tom (if he doesn't win a starting job) or Yosh if gets beat. Plus, the top two guys from last year's practice squad. A vet would be nice but the cap space is limited. Maybe save that money for a vet safety.
Learn football dose not matter how many tackles they have bak wont last those other guys unproven yosh ok but is he really ready to take on a bigger role of being the starter.
@@Soill33 Dude, you are over reacting. Bak is fine and if he goes down, so be it. Tom and Yosh filled in fine last year. They have been playing and practicing with those guys for years now. With the cap space we have, we can't even afford the guys who will be cut by other teams. What fantasy world are you living in where a team just cuts a guy who is better than the two we have backing up the tackle spot? There isn't one now and there won't be one after teams make cuts.
@@jefferyzielke7665 dont tell me what I'm being you dont no what your talking about. How's a guy that ha sbeen injured the past few seasons nothing to worry about the man has not been healthy in for ever do you know football. When guys like him continue to have these kinds of situations they never come back for full seasons let alone enough games to even keep them on the roster much respect to him. But packers need a vet that can come in add valuable experience you have a guy in myers suspect. Tom make take his spot. So who would play tackle I'm not moving jenkins out there again we have seen that show before.
Do we just comment on the bad ones and are all those routes run correctly the recievers have to be where they are supposed to be that's why I said it's camp let them gain their repoire. All of these recievers haven't been here for 3 years and most have only been for one year...it's just came this is where we iron these things out!!
I'm not willing to disregard the inaccuracies by Love at this point. There isn't any new throws that he hasn't seen. If he can't hit a 10 yard out (and most other throws) in his sleep by now, he never will. Two or three missed throws can easily equal an L in today's NFL. And unlike Rodgers and the other great QB's, he doesn't make the wow throws that only a few others can. Add those things up and you have a meh QB.
Let him play in a few games first. His 6 pass catchers, 4 rookies, don't always make it easy to say who messed up or where the communication was blown. He showed he doesn't get rattled when K.C. was blitzing every play. I've heard plenty of reporters saying he's had wow throws. It's going to take some real games, week after week to see how he does
Well there were multiple games in 08 where Rodgers threw around 50%...With a better receiving core at the time than we do now. So things can change over time. Plus he has some really good throws mixed in as well and tonight I would say he was better than he was not overall. The start of practice was iffy but everything in the 2nd half of practice looked good to me.
