Can it be jumped without the snaps? There you have a good question 😉 Wait! Another one! How many jumps are for the set of snaps before you have to send it to the PD or rigger to repair You have 2 good ones for your channel 😁 please forgive my english 🙃
This thing has a POWERFUL and I mean POWERFUL flare. Even on my 210, if you just tap the toggles you are already under the nose. Make sure up high you find the sweet spot because this thing is a rocket.
Good to know. I'm wrapping up school now and in a sabre 2 230. Holy CRAP is the flare better than the navigator! Plan on getting a sabre 3 with a 1:1 loading eventually. Probably 190. If the flare is sharper than the sabre 2, I'll be happy for a very long time.
After rolling twice on the cacoon or whatever you call it you let go of it and I wonder if it looses tension. I don't let go of it until I'm on the floor because if I roll it twice or 3 times, as soon as I let go it undoes itself, then when you lay it on the floor the warning label is completely open and the slider is exposed, maybe because it's older rental canopies at my dz?. Also I heard if you put your knees directly on the grommets you will damage the fabric over time, some people recommend to put the shins there so there's less direct pressure.
for the life of me. i know you have 1000 of pack job but i literally follow this step by step. everytime i breathe or move right before putting in the freaking bag, the canopy moves and pops out. so its like how else am i suppose to control the darn thing. ive out pressure with my hands, sat on the damn thing and soon as i life the freaking canopy just half inch, there goes 10 inches of fabric out. smh. meanwhile the canopy used in this video seem to be different type of fabric because wth that thing isnt popping out. sooo soo frustrating. i didnt think packing would make me want to stop skydiving
Can you show A method for S fold where the slider section is not folded but the top part of the canopy gets folded over it (like a reverse S-fold? ) I'd rather leave it alone as much as possible once it is cocooned
