I’m flying out of the country soon, and I would say to anyone traveling, make sure you have everything (new clothes you might need, sunglasses, etc.) 1-2 weeks in advanced so you aren’t like “Oh no I don’t have sneakers!” The day before your trip. It takes time to shop and order things online, so just be prepared!!
My family went to Switzerland and France for a month to visit some family friends. We managed to each take a carry on and then only have 1 checked bag. These tips are perfect! The shoe thing is so true! I brought crocs for the plane, sneakers, and one pair of fancy shoes and tbh I never used the fancy shoes! I’m glad to see your family had fun, that looks like an amazing trip!
That's awesome! Hope you had fun. I went to Rome and Greece On A Week Disney Cruise earlier this summer. Loved seeing the Colosseum, and all the tours as well. So glad you went, such a beautiful place to visit.
another tip I find helpful, is bringing disposable, small trash bags. generally in Europe there are less public trash cans, so I would suggest bringing them.
You are so right! I thought it was really interesting how they just put trash on the street in bags (not really binned like here in US) when it was time to collect. Xo
@@WhatsUpMOMSthat totally depends on what country you are in, as there are many differences between European countries and their policies. I the Netherlands and Sweden for example, trash is pretty much always binned.
You always leave room for shopping! I’m on holiday right now and have somehow ended up with two bookmarks, a new light shade, and a beautiful second hand book that was printed in the 1800s! Not completely sure how the last two happened but everything was definitely a success (apart from you posting this after we had already got there of course)
Hi! I love your videos! I'm a child but these videos are really good! I've never been this early to a premiere before! I hope you have a great time in Europe!
You guys always make the videos when I need it. I’m literally going on a plane in this video is really really helpful. I also enjoy your other packing videos. They really help me when I’m packing.
I am only a teenager but i love your videos!!! They relieve do much stress from school and everyday life. I just wanted to thank you for all that your videos do for me ❤.
When I travel with my children, I save up clothes I can bin on the trip. I’m not talking things you could still send to charity shops but things like pjs that are looking a little worn/tired and old underwear n socks. That way as they wear it I can dispose of it and it saves washing and creates space in case. I have a drawer at home for their ‘clothes that can’t go to charity/goodwill’.
Also a tip if you travel to the warm countries like spain and italy, they held siesta's. So if you go to the city in the afrernoon dont be surprised if shops etc are closed.
Haha, it's hard to explain, but they are really thin like paper and not as absorbent as the ones here? At least in every gelato shop we went to... it may have been an ice cream thing! Hopefully I get to go back one day and further test :) 🤗
We traveled to Europe for the first time with our 3 kids (ages 3-7) this summer and it was so much fun. We were there for 10 days and packing cubes and medicine kit with melatonin was a must for us and so glad we did. Great tips as these were all that I followed using Pinterest and other friends who had traveled with kids overseas before. And we definitely let the kids sleep in the first 2 mornings to help them adjust as best they could.
Which Kate Spade bag is that?! It is soooo cute! We are going next year and this video made me so excited. We have never taken our kids on this long of a trip/ flight before. Btw...I'm actually a mom who watches your videos 😂 love them all!
Haha, an "actual mom", I love it Ericka! Thank you! I love this bag... I got it at the Kate Spade Outlet (while Presley was at soccer camp, haha). I just looked it up and I believe it's the "Chelsea Nylon Bag"... mine is gold trimmed. Hope this helps. Thanks so much for watching! 🤗 xo Elle
No way!! I think we just beat the heat wave, and it was STILL hot, so I can only imagine! Loved Italy though- want to see Amalfi coast one day! Hope you had a great time 🤗
I also went to Europe last month for 3 weeks, and it made me realize that I'm sick and tired of the US. PS, I didn't visit most of the locations Elle went to, but I did visit Rome. I also went to Naples, Italy, Greece, Turkey, and Spain
girl you need to come back to england and visit more then just london!!! theres so many more cool places that are a lot cheaper to stay in and are ultimately more touristy!!!!
It's been quite the busy summer!!!! But we will get there- already have another shot and in the edit, so should be much faster! It's a good old activities episode that was super fun!
Another tip is to only make your kids go to sleep when you're when they're dipped when they get tired because you're six-hour difference and if you make them go to sleep at the time that doing would normally go to sleep at home and they will be like really a week at their bedtime and get like
When I went to Thailand with my parents I only packed like two clothes cuz the first day I went I already had a bag full💀 and for shoes I really only take 1
