Because this dish can be marinated and cooked "same day" in a couple of hours. What her husband wanted would require at least 24 hr marination, and longer cooking time.

I love how she always feeds her family and the people around them, i had a friend like this and i swear it saved me, i would always just not eat then one day my friend started making me food and i don’t want to waste it so i started eating 1-2 meals a day again so this just makes me really happy

Good on you. We construction/trade hands can easily tell Who’s buying lunch vs the hand who’s loved one is packing them lunch. I make my wife lunch for work here and there. It’s a good feeling when I m able to do so given the time.
