Here comes my PacMan 3D V6 with a little bit Jelly 😋
I love the game PacMan. I played that all the time as a child.
I thought the idea with PacMan was pretty funny.

Unfortunately, I made a few mistakes again. I don't like the following things:
Overall, the video has unfortunately become a bit too fast. The figures move quite quickly. That's the reason why I went from 30 frames per second (rendering) to 24 frames per second in the output of the movie.
There is a flicker on the floor in the doors.
The quality when the yellow PacMan's mouth is open is not very good and there is a lot of noise.
Again, I spent a long time looking for the right music. It's really not easy to find just the right one.

That's super satisfying to watch, with those physics. I think if that was an actual game - an indie pacman game with crazy high end graphics like that and all those camera angles and stuff - it could be quite popular (if it was just a couple bucks on steam or something).

Thank you for your kind comment. Yes, I can well imagine that it would be really fun to play in real time. Maybe even in team mode with 2 or more players who can push each other away to eat jelly. With a ghost, there could always be a spawn area behind all the other PacMan characters. That would be really fun. A few smaller traps where the PacMan is either too big to fit in a corridor or too small (with lower speed at the same time). In the starting area, everyone can choose a color or maybe even a shape, like in front of the Spigel, then a PacMan could also jump over a flat PacMan. But then there must also be jumping, but never over the walls but onto the table, for example 😂 (Translated with DeepL).

Das ist ein MEISTERWERK. Kannst du auch bestimmt cool mit Tetris machen, die ein Parkour laufen, und am Ende dann in diesen Tetris Kasten landen. Die Überlappung am Türrahmen unten am Boden ist natürlich ärgerlich. Kann mir vorstellen das dich das geärgert hat :D Hoffe dir gehts gut soweit? Peasen

Danke Dir, soweit geht es mir recht gut und alles ist im Moment stabil. Ich hoffe Dir geht es ebenfalls gut. Vielen Dank auch für das nette Kompliment. Ich war erst am Überlegen den Teil mit dem Türrahmen nochmal zu Rendern, allerdings hat mich das wohl noch nicht stark genug geärgert 😂 Das mit den Tetrominos könnte ich machen, allerdings müsste dann wirklich alles per Hand animiert werden. Ich benutze ja für Tetris oft die dynamischen Berechnungen. Eine Kombination aus beidem ist zwar möglich aber wenn die Vorstrecke zu lang ist und man jedes mal wieder alles neu positionieren muss und bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt abspielen muss ist das ein extremer Aufwand.

Das war bestimmt ein enormer aufwand zu koordinieren

Der Aufwand insgesamt war sehr hoch. Das ist auch der Grund, warum dann andere Kanäle manchmal doch leider etwas warten müssen. Leider ist die Animation insgesamt viel zu schnell geworden, deshalb bin ich im Video auch nur bei 24 von 30 Frames. Ich hätte es am liebsten nochmal nur halb so schnell. Aber die Renderzeiten waren auch schon so lange genug. Probleme machte eigentlich nur der Fahrstuhlbereich, beim herauf und herunterfahren (keine lineare Geschwindigkeit). Ansonsten einen riesigen Haufen Keyframes setzen (Augenbewegung, Mund auf und zu, so wie die gesamte Position. Ich bin froh dass ich damals den PacMan von den Einstellungsmöglichkeiten her mal komplett überarbeitet habe (war ein riesiger Aufwand für mich). Dadurch gibt es jetzt aber kein Flickering mehr in den Augen und keine Probleme bei den Deformationen (sieht man am besten wenn die vor den Spiegeln stehen).

I also thought the ideas for the video were great, but the PacMan figures were much too fast. Slower would have looked better, but the rendering time would have been enormous if the video had been any longer.
