Thank you Rollen for talking about national pride, this is what flamenco represents for Spain, even if Flamenco is greatly rooted in Andalusia in the south of Spain. The music, singing and dancing is very codified, although in this concert, Paco put a lot of jazzy touch to it. I love Paco de Lucia because it is my roots although I do not live in the country of my birth, but I was lulled by it with my parents who were nostalgic for the country they left because of poverty. Thank you for this concert that I didn't know about.

It´s very cool to see that flamenco music can get such a positive reaction from a non Spanish man that´s not even familiar with these sounds.This is a performance from Paco´s later years and he shows he´s an accomplished musician transcending flamenco boundaries but bringing to international audiences the flavor of Southern Spain.In the gypsy(or even non gypsy) communities in Andalusia they still have their musical parties where they sing,play guitar,clap hands and dance in their passionat and spontaneous way.Thank you for showing this art in your channel.Greetings from Spain

Precisamente en este tema a Paco se le ve que es de carne y hueso cuando se le olvidan algunas notas ( al final le dice a Antonio el de la harmonica que estaba pensando en otra cosa del concierto) Pero hasta para equivocarse tenía arte el maestro Grande Paco te echamos de menos!!! Y siii , Paco es excepcional!!! Nuestro Beethoven contemporáneo

Rollen, debes entender que el flamenco sin baile no es ni medio flamenco. El flamenco es un compendio, es armonía entre el sonido, el baile y el sentimiento del cante. Te recomiendo para que lo entiendas un poco que veas a "Miguel Poveda" en la canción en directo "Triana, puente y aparte". Ahí podrás ver el englobe del que te hablo aún no siendo el mejor ejemplo aunque sí uno muy divertido e iluminador.
