Every brand has tried to release something new in 2023 and Paco Rabanne came up with a new fragrance, an UAE exclusive, 1 Million Golden Oud. Since oud is a traditional ingredient used mostly in middle-eastern perfumery, 1 Million Golden Oud was most likely decided to remain a regional exclusive item. Paco Rabanne certainly took a leap of faith trying to accommodate the usage of oud in one of its most popular fragrance lineup. Does 1 Million Golden Oud live up to the hype? How much oud can one expect in a designer fragrance that has never ventured into middle-eastern perfumery? Does it smell like anything else? This fragrance was created by Christophe Raynaud who created Or Encens and Noir Ambre for Issey Miyake. Those were also Middle East exclusive. I love his work

Thank you for the feedback. Someone here mentioned he got his bottle from ebay. Another friend in one of the fragcomm pages took my advice and ordered it too. He’s probably gonna get it soon. Seller looks legit, but do your homework and grab that bottle if you want. Really an exclusive item so not sure if any discounters will be getting it.

Facts man fact. 💯 I’m excited for this. I’m in the market for a oud scent. So far gucci intense oud is on my radar but this sounds good as well. Also waiting to hear more on polo oud.

If you’re starting out on oud, then I highly recommend you should get your nose on houses like Arabian Oud, Maison Anthony Marmin. I’ve got reviews of them if it helps. Besides that, yes, Paco Rabanne Golden Oud is something really nice. The oud is not the main player and I think they did the right thing by keeping it toned down. Most people who never tried oud will be able to wear this fragrance, because oud comes in a variety of smell and anyone not knowing might easily get offended by a certain smell. Very happy to hear back. Try and find a bottle of Golden Oud. I'm very curious to find out what my viewers have to say. The other person has received it in the mail and confirms that it's a very different fragrance with much complexity to it. That's what I said in simple terms. The thing changes and transforms. Thank you for the feedback. I did mention in my review which ones it kind of reminded me of. Opening reminds me of D&G Royal Night opening; not the exact thing but kind of in the same ballpark. In the base the patchouli felt like the type of patchouli they used in Behold Patchouli from Gallagher Fragrances. Again, these are just reminders, but now way the same smell. This is to give anyone a rough idea about what one can expect. Hope that answers your question.

@brian19869 yeah I purchased mine off of Ebay and the seller ships from Elizabeth New Jersey. I just purchased another one from him like one hour ago. The first time I paid 169.99. This second purchased is 179.99. He told me his supplier raised the price. I'm not mad it's a banger worse case scenario I could always sell it for double or triple the price in the future if it doesn't come to the US.

Thank you so much for the feedback. A viewer here mentioned that he foind it on ebay. I let the fragcomm know in the groups and one of my friends bought it too. Dunno if they have anymore left, but keep an eye there. Someone was selling decants on one of the fb groups. It seems like Paco Rabanne truly kept it limited. To be honest, I don't have hopes that discounters will get it.

@@DSDAN1 this is still not available for purchase in the US side. Your best shot is if someone travels from the UAE or luckily someone sells it in the fragcomm groups. Keep an eye on ebay. Early on, a seller had it, but it sold out very quickly

I was able to have my aunt ship it from UK. Some seller had it on ebay and they all sold out. Your only hope is if someone transiting thru some UAE airport, lives in the UAE or in UK. Still no word from discounters in US. Seems like Paco Rabanne certainly kept it very exclusive so far.
