I haven't owned an Invictus since Aqua 2018, and this is really good! It's not smoky, it's greenish fresh, slightly sweet, overall smooth. Definitely wearable for anytime of the year. ❤❤ Glad I gave it a chance.
@@rottenrebels Its actually a good question,i think i get nose blinded by it very easily. But somewhere between 6-7 hours of longveity, the projection first hour is crazy
It's still sweet but not like crazy sweet. One of the notes is legit black soap. I'd say it's more of a sweet clean scent. darker than the original. If you don't like sweet stuff like the original I would tell you probably not to get this. You could always order a sample just to see.
@@rottenrebels honestly 10 out of 10 it lasts a long time nd when the smell starts to fade away it has this chocolatey smell to it i dont know how to describe it but def 10 id recommend it
Hey, I really love this channel and your videos but I have one question. I own Versace Eros and I’m about to buy a winter fragrance, either Hugo boss bottled elixir, le male elixir or azarro the most wanted edp. I have not quite decided yet. My question is what would you recommend for me to buy next after the winter fragrance. I would love to hear your opinion.
I ordered a 50 ml bottle and it was only £45, usually £75, so picked it up. Didn’t opt for the 100 ml as I did in fact give away my Og Invictus and not using it completely. So I think 50 ml is great just to test it. And for the price, even better. Coming tomorrow 😅
@@riyad5749 it’s alright, I don’t like it as much anymore. But I’ll still use it, lasts quite long but doesn’t project a lot. It’s just sitting in my draw. Just picked up YSL elixir 🥹😀
Got into fragrances a couple months ago and this was my first pickup because waaay back when, a relative got me original invictus. I still dont have the nose to identify what it smells like but I wish it was stronger. For a parfum i feel the sillage is not great. But then maybe Im going noseblind fast
Just bought it and i am not a big fan of the line, much because of the underlying sweetness throughout it. But this one is really good after it settles down a bit. The sweetness matches the wood, soap and freshness really well. And it get compliments! Just shows me that i can be a little fast to jugde brands, because this was not something i thought i would like this much.
@@rottenrebels I would rate it as a 7.5-8 allrounder. Good performance and smell, without a special wow-factor. But difficult to compare it to something... What would you compare it to?
OMG........I literally, honestly just literally got home from the shopping mall where I bought 50ml of Invictus Parfum. What a coincidence!!!!! For me this Invictus Parfum is very similar to Invictus Elixir but slightly lighter and with less vanilla. Platinum is my favourite, but the parfum is extremely pleasant. Elixir is still probably the best all round Invictus though.
In a way, it feels like a mix between Victory Elixir and Legend, and it's now my favorite. The only downside is that I think I become nose blind to it after an hour or two.
Thanks for sharing! Yeah like I mentioned in the video, it does feel like it has bits and pieces of some of the other ones in the line. How do you experience it's performance?
One of the few frags i had to scrub off. Took one spray at the store and the opening is very good! But i couldnt stand the dry down. But I can see people liking this one. Another positive is that it is very strong and lasts forever because i had to try to scrub it off 4 times😂 Good bang for your buck but just not for me.
I don’t have any other Invictus flankers, I did give away the original to a friend, not cuz I never liked it. I just never wore it. It was soo GOOD in the air and the breeze definitely made it smell good. But the performance was terrible, so I let it go. Picked this up as an alternative, for the original and I’ll definitely use this more often, as the performance is definitely better.
You should do a review on the new john varvatos XX intense picked up a bottle today reminds me of victory elixir at first but the drydown is immaculate
It is undoubtedly Invictus. Very logical progression for the line and is pretty much exactly what I'd expect from an Invictus Parfum. Not incredible in my opinion but I've never been blown away by Invictus or it's flankers.
