Can this bag be worn like a messenger bag (to the hip versus the chest or back)?

Hello, what is the largest iPad this sling can fit?

I wish you guys would do a video for a sling that may be best for you to carry your DJI Mini 3 pro Rc controller Fly more combo 1 more extra battery Anker 26k brick charger Misc items That’s what I’m sure a lot of people would like to see 🤷🏽‍♂️

amazing review, I have this question: I am between this Vibe 100 and the MetroSafe X, here is the thing: I need to bring a canon M50 with a pancake 22mm lens, a DJI pocket 2 and an insta360 X3, do you think this will be enough hehehe, or the vibe 100? :-)
@ytwatcher6020
@ytwatcher6020 Год назад
I've managed to fit a Canon M50 with 11-22 lens, a go pro, wallet, A Samsung S23 Ultra, coin purse, Samsung Buds, keys in this without issue. I did wish there's a back pocket or there's more organization pockets inside.

It’s a little too big and thin looking for me. What is that green back pack over Eric’s left shoulder at the top next to a blue bag?

Ooh, if it were just a little smaller it could work pretty great as a case for the Steam Deck. I hadn't considered looking at sling bags for it! ...maybe not what I came to this video for, but very useful nonetheless 😅

Thanks for watching! Do you keep your Steam Deck in a case when you take it places? -Eric
@FaerieDust
@FaerieDust Год назад
@@PackHacker2 Yeah, I use the standard case right now but am looking for something slimmer - I really just need to protect it from the rest of the stuff in my bag, so a lightly padded pouch of some kind would be ideal but there's not a lot on the market yet. I might end up just sewing it myself tbh.

@@PackHacker2 long post on the current state of Deck cases from a compact packer's perspective: There really isn't much on the market in terms of truly compact, dedicated cases. dbrand has the Killswitch (a bit heavy, relatively expensive at $75, but by far the most compact for protecting the Deck if you just toss it in your bag), but it's been delayed and isn't available for purchase at the moment. Waterfield has their Pouch (very compact, also expensive at $79) and CitySlicker (a bit larger and fancier, but at $129 I'd consider it more of a luxury item tbh). There's a cheap case with a flip cover on Amazon, but it's pretty much always out of stock and honestly idk if it's worth buying. But it's the only affordable, truly compact option - probably why it's always sold out. Tomtoc makes a dedicated Steam Deck bag, but it's quite large - people seem to like it, and Tomtoc does make quality gear, but it's not a compact option (I'm holding out hope they'll make a case similar to their slim Nintendo Switch cases - my Switch Lite in a slim Tomtoc case is hilariously small next to the Deck + standard case, definitely a better compact travel option if you don't mind the Nintendo tax on the games) If you're using the standard case, the charger will fit behind the elastic at the back and there are 3D printed inserts to hold the charger + a few SD cards that'll fit perfectly in that groove. There are other cases similar to the standard one, but with space for the charger inside - more or less the same bulky size though. And there's a 3D printed clip-on screen protector on Etsy, but that'll leave the sticks and buttons exposed (there are little protectors for the sticks too, but that feels like an impractical solution to me - too many small bits that are easily lost). The Deck is a bit of an odd size, all the "normal" bags and pouches I find tend to be either too short or much larger in at least one direction. The dbrand Killswitch is hands down the best compact option if you, like me, don't need a case that'll also fit accessories, but it'll probably be a good couple of months before it's available for purchase again.

Wow, thanks for such detailed information! We’ll definitely be looking into a few of your recommendations. It seems like more and more gear will come as time rolls onward, but sometimes it takes longer than we’d like. Again, thank you for your detailed insights on Steam Deck cases and bags; you’ve been a great help! -Eric

Can anyone recommend something like this but a little bit thinner. I'm trying to fit a steam deck, nothing else.

Fit a water bottle?

I just put a 40oz slim trail series hydro flask inside this. Granted if you put something that large inside, everything else would need to be soft or bendable but it very easily fits a 32oz or 24oz trail series hydro flask or equivalent bottles. Best part is. Zippers we’re not an issue at all, zipped without much effort.
