the character development is clear. Paddington has made them all into quite nice fellows. Had those words been spoken about them in the beginning they would've been extremely angry.
I like to imagine that they all hang around there every visiting day hoping someone will want to introduce them to their family, and that was the first time ever that they actually knew it would happen and were really excited while they were waiting.
that what prisons should be. not a happy place. but a place where you change a person. show them what they did wrong and help them not doing it again. i dont remmeber who said it but he basicly said "prisons in america punsh criminals, prisons in the eu, mostly, try to make them better people." true sometimes it wont work out and a bad person will remain a "bad" person nomatter how hard you try. but it shouldnt stop you even though you might fail in the end.
this movie is so incredibly charming and sweet and adorable that it honestly makes my eyes water when I think about it. what an absolutely joyful viewing experience!

Yes, that is the father of Charlie and the Chocolate factory, but I dont really know the other actors for the other characters, but the names of those characters kind of sound familiar (one of them sounds like he is from Harry Potter)
Was a really nice cast for Paddington 2. Especially technically having Molly Weasley, Horace Slughorn, Alastor " Mad-eye " Moody, Dolores Umbridge and Albus Dumbledore in it.
Paddington is one of those few kid films that’s very well-made that I think anyone of all ages can enjoy it. Wish more kid films would follow this form being well executed and written so it’s tolerable for adult family members to watch
When knuckles said “we can still hear you” and then the guy said “gentlemen” I showed a add and I couldn’t stop laughing because they all looked so so sad/angry.
Ah yes, people that have gone on killing rampages deserve to spend time in a happy, cosy, pink and bright centre with balloons and bedtime stories. Seems legit.
Dunno if it's the accent , the atmosphere or the fact that he has prison friends with a heart of gold but, was Wes Anderson involved in this movie in any way?
You know what i realized? Yeah, it’s funny that knuckles didn’t get mad at being insulted. But paddington changed him. Instead of yelling at him, what did he do? He did it the paddington way: he proved him wrong. He proved he’s smart enough to know the difference between light and microphone. He embarrassed mr brown.
He escaped nazi germany and illegally made his way into the uk with some others, got seperated as they were arrested then stayed wiht the family but was now arrested again and framed aswell for another crime
