Get someone to take your videos for you because we are missing out on your natural and stunning beauty!!! Thumbs up for showing us an actusl Florida cave. I thought they were all under water.
Thank you for the nice words! Sometimes I have someone with me and sometimes I venture on my own! And oh no, Jackson County around Marianna alone has hundreds of caves! You can check out several more on our channel!
I've never been to The Ovens. With the river so low, I'm sure now is the perfect time to see them. Did you ever feel like ya might get lost in there!?? Great & fun video Rachael!!
I am a retired Firefighter-Paramedic from JCFR, never knew about this place, thank God nobody ever needed an ambulance while they were stuck in that place. LOL I only know one person from Two Egg and her name was Jade. How old are you? Probably a little girl when I worked down there. I now live up here in Headland,Al. resting and retired :-)
This place is a very secluded river down and out looks like a world away from troubles , and nothing but peace along the way , you need to have your own TV show out and back Adventures of the wild getaways.
The Chipola is quiet most days and usually a little busy on weekends. It is a great place to enjoy nature and the outdoors. Thank you for the nice words!
One of my favorite rivers to float. I have never seen any cave women looking so good though. This lady makes me wanna toss my razor and switch to Geico.
The river there looks a lot muddier than I remember it. But then, I've never seen it north of Marianna, and I know there are a number of springs dumping clean water into the river there.
There are no crocodiles in the Chipola River. The do exist in Florida, but only far down in the very southern tip of the state. You will see an alligator now and then.
It does sort of look like a nest! It was formed by the annual flooding of the river, which has eaten away at the soft limestone of the bluff over hundreds and thousands of years.
