This man is so underrated, I’ve never seen him not slam the fish, even when he is just messing around with new lures. Keep it up man, you’ll definitely make it big👍
only a fisherman can respect another fisherman that is more proud of himself for what they can do with a mere 3 inches then those working with a 6 inch.
Justin, I follow all your videos. You provide an abundance of what all fisherman love. Top water strikes. Very exciting. I don't mean to sound sarcastic, but who do I have to know to get murder mullets LOL!! They always seem to be sold out, or nor being dropped at the time.
Nice Justine, the thing that caught my attention with this video is the almighty verge camo. My verge is the 14 footer. I haven't used it for fishing yet but that's coming soon, it has e entertained the kids a little here and there but my major goal is to baptize it with a fish. You asked about the sun chips, if you wanna try something better, try some salsitas.
Great views of slamming fish !!!! Are you fishing around Melbourne? I went to college down there…FIT. I bet things have changed a little since 1973. Fishing was great. Thanks for the video.
What I do when the fish get spooked too much in shallow water like that is put a little towel at my feet so that I can lay my paddle down without making a sound👍
Awesome day! Have you tried to use the paddle slot at the front of the Bote? I may be a little quieter to slide it in as opposed to placing it on the deck.
Hey man, you should tie a rope with a loop around your waist for the paddle, and that way you can paddle with one hand and don’t have to set it all the way down. Salt strong has a video on it and it’s really helped me fishing on my board and not spooking fish
Loved the video! Would you consider making a video going over tides, and how they effect fishing? I previously lived in nebraska, and moved down to Florida. Being inland, obviously not at all familiar with tides. Looking to pick up a kayak in the next few months, but just not sure how to plan out my day based off tides... would be a great video to see!
@@justin_menendez ahh gotcha! I just assumed anywhere coastal the tides would play a huge factor with the fishing haha, I'm up near Tampa myself So mainly fishing stuff in and around the bay. Lots of intercoastal creeks and Rivers and stuff around here, I assume best time is going to be when the tide is high and the water is moving
I know I'm late to the party but in answer to your question about black drum, yes you're correct. It's primarily for mating, females are attracted to the biggest and loudest drummers while smaller males will keep their distance. A secondary reason is to attempt to startle and scare away predators, hence why he drummed at you when you put him on the paddleboard.
I recommend looking into a rod holder you wear on your belt, so you can keep it on you. Just rest the blade of the paddle on the board and yourself then you can grab your rock without major movements. Hopefully spooking less fish.
Hi Justin, Great Job catching those fish on the mini mullet. Awesome bait to use, can't wait to buy some. What size hook should I get for the mini mullet? For now take care and tight lines. Love watching your videos 👍🎣
I like the paddleboard presentation for fishing, but man does it get rough in any type of winds. Hard to give up on the Hobie drive in normal fishing situations
My guy! The main reason why I just purchased my first gheenoe was watching your videos and how fun you make it seem. I see you use a lot of lures. Do you apply any scents to the lures?
Hello Justine I had to turn your vid off for a few moments to reflect just how poor the fishing is in the uk compared to the states , I’m fully aware that fishing days are not always like this but outs never are like this Fair play Justine you know your style of fishing and make the most of it Any pointers you could give me for a two / three week trip to Florida would be helpful . Travelling that far with limited time restricts the learning curve so any pointers would help or any americain cousins out there with info it would be greatly appreciated kind regards Andy Thomas fishing nut from UK 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧✌️
I’m here watching the video and saying to myself I wonder if Justin think about what he would do if he see a 🐊….then he sees one lol. Bro aren’t you concerned about run ins with them while paddle boarding? @justin
@@justin_menendez I guess your right cuz most times they will probably move away once they see you coming unless the feel threatened or are feeding or nesting. Cuz most of my encounters they have always fled or just moved and observed from a distance. But I always try to keep a look out and be cautious just in case. So I think it was a good move to just turn back lol.
