Hey everyone and welcome to the channel! Silver Springs & Silver River is located 40 minutes east of Ocala, Florida and the views of this beautiful river is a must see! The river stretches 5 miles long and has some beautiful nature along with that crystal clear water you need to see. Come explore Silver River with me to see manatees, monkeys and alligators. Things to know before coming here listed below! Oh and P.S. I did launch from both the state park side one day and Rays Wayside Park on the other day. This video is put together from two days.
Admission to Silver Springs State Park is $8 per vehicle. The park is open 365 days per year, including holidays from 8 am until sundown. If you’re bringing your own vessel (kayak, canoe, stand-up paddleboard), there is a $4 launch fee per vessel, plus park admission of $2 per person.

I had my first kayaking experience there last month. It's a beautiful state park. I was there Saturday morning when there were lots of people but you had no people at all. 👍

Definitely a must add 😄 It was late June I went here and it was a Friday. The river is wide enough where you can go during the weekend and won’t have an issue except maybe parking.

Hey, nice vid. What time of day did you go? I know traffic can get heavy on the water during certain parts of the day. It looked like you went during the best time. Any other tips you would add?

Thank you, David. I will usually go to the springs during the week and start early in the morning. This video might’ve been during the week and around 8am or 9am. Traffic will get pretty heavy later on the morning especially with bots coming up. Totally would add Weekie Wachee or Rainbow River 🙌🙌
