Good work! Wish I could have sat around today, but I was busy trying to get my Mahindra tractor up and running. Once that's safely done, I get to work on cutting up a 40' limb that broke off my ancient pecan tree. Hate to see the old girl in such a state, but she's had a very good life and seen much happen over the years.
@@ROCKPILEOffgridHomestead No idea, really. It was 3' in diameter at chest height, and at least 60' tall when I moved in. Sadly, you could see an old scar up high were someone cut a large branch off many decades ago and never put any protective coating on the cut. So pestilence set in well before the tree could ever hope to scab over the wound and it's been on the decline ever since. She's put up a good fight, for sure. I've spent many a day enjoying the shade of this beauty, but it's only a matter of time before the tree will need to be felled.
Well done guys, don't knock the mighty safety step (yep i'm short too lol). Petrol driver certainly beats the old heavy manual star picket driver :) Congratulations on your girl 🙂😍
So good to see you up on your two feet Cory! I'm going to interpret that to mean the surgeon reports that your healing is going well or ahead of schedule. THAT is REALLY GREAT NEWS! Now don't get rambunctious and start up with your wind sprints again =D This video sure is a cliff hanger. I'm guessing pigs or beef cattle. Looking forward to the next phase of your recovery. I guess you are starting in to your winter season now. Good content could be your plans for the fall/winter 24-25? Great explanation of tools and dont worry Amanda I am the shorty in my family too I would need the safe step too (although normally a crate lol) we are just about to tackle some fencing on our property too :)
@@ROCKPILEOffgridHomestead PS: hot tip - slide the driver onto the post before the stand it upright. Your back and shoulders will thank you for it, particularly after you've done a few hundred. You probably won't need the safety step then either. Less gear to move around.
