What really is a "stress reaction?" I think the organization is trying to avoid saying "fracture." Maybe it's weakening of bone rather than a clear break. In any case, this sounds likely to be more than 6 weeks and possibly a lot longer to heal, particularly if treatment involves stem cells. It could potentially mean the end of Tatis' season but maybe decision makers want to see if this year's team can compete and if so hold off on drastic treatments that would end this year's season for Tatis.

so we won't be seeing you comment here anymore? you won't be supporting this team even if they somehow made the playoffs? man you won't even be supporting this team when we get a ring? oh my... red sox fans, white sox fans, and even the rockies would KILL to have our fanbase, stadium, & team in general.. not even joking.
