Tatis Jr has been lucky on those though, like on one home run, he threw a slider outside, pulled to center. That’s kinda sketchy ngl, but he’s a guaranteed future hall of famer.
question is... is there cheating? It's hard for me to watch a game with the question in the back of my mind thinking if someone is cheating. I don't think SD or LA are but just the league in general.
I think the difference between Jansen's 91 mph throws versus his 95s is that the ball comes off his hand more lively at 95 and most likely more spins to it, thus doing weird things as it approaches the plate. His 91s are most likely less spins and more straight, making it batting cage hittable.
Andrew Friedman would be wise to offer T. Bauer a lucrative longer term commitment to keep him wearing Blue. Maybe not Mookie type of contract, length-wise, but 5 years extension to current one would be nice.
I’m a lifelong Dodger fan and I love it the Padres have a great team and will challenge for the best in the league. It’s also fun to see them talk a little smack without the need for the guys in the bullpen to run all the way out to the diamond for nothing 😂
Dodgers fan here. And I love the respectful trash talk and swag between Bauer, Machado and Tatis Jr. We do that ourselves with our buddies. It’s just freaking fun! I love it. Go Dodgers! And G’luck to our Padres Brethren. Respect...
This has been some damn good baseball. Great to see two good teams battling it out, wouldn’t want it any other way. (Also glad Jansen is trending towards his old self, Dodgers #1 all time reliever at it again)
Snell didn't lose, The Rays lost it for him when Cash prematurely took him out and a good thing, the Rays had become just a bit too arrogent. Now they are back to mediocrity after out smarting themselves and trading their ace away as if he were the same as Archer when they made that deal.
Padres fan here. This “rivalry”, whether you think it may be or not, is living up to its hype. Great baseball being played on both sides. *oh also, ump was total garbage tonight
Padres more like a bitter unforgiving child that's being abused. How is it rivalry when it's so one sided only. With the Giant's rivalry goes back to New York my brother. Giants 8 WS Dodgers 7WS and Padres 0 WS.
Bauer never ran his mouth on Tatis, and even as a Dodgers fan I'll admit nobody can, so the yard balls didn't sting quite as bad as if they would have come from Machado. Another entertaining game from my boys in blue and the Padres I can't escape because I live in San Diego. Let's go Dodgers! ⚾️🏆
@@thegusbusisouttagas7116 That’s just how Tatis is. He is a competitor. If you strike out he will remember and try to take you deep. He doesn’t do it too embarrass Bauer he does it for himself. Same as Bauer.
@@diegovillarreal7756 Sounds more like the Padres live in Trevor's head. He can't get over how Manny owns him and he shouldn't be pitching with 1 eye in ST. Lol
What a game!!! Ppl hating on Tatis are jus mad he’s not on ur team! He’s the padres spark plug. When he’s producing the whole team follows and gets hyped
Coming from a dodger fan a piece of advice . People are always going to hate an opposing good player . He is exciting but he needs to hit for a better average then .208
The only player I have anything against as a Dodgers fan is manny machado, the rest of the Padres have my respect. Two overall great teams and a beautiful match up.
@John-Michael Delton White I have discovered recently that in some cultures or languages, or maybe it's their translation software, home run and grand slam get used interchangeable. Go figure.
Man is funny how you hear the commentator. Padres commentator: Seager bangs a base hit into right field Dodgers commentator: THE DODGERS TAKE THE LEAD A TWO RUN SHOT FROM COREY SEAGER
how is this a rivalry in April. some of you baseball fans have no idea what a rivalry means or how 2 teams become rivals. in 1 corner we have the defending champs, a team that has won for several years and in the other corner you have a team that on paper might look good, but on the field has done nothing, has won nothing and so yeah, rivalry? LOL LA vs SF, now that's a rivalry
@@josiahmatko8969 I can't admit it because these two teams are not rivals. impossible because the Padres have not won or done anything. Plus, this is April baseball. nobody cares who's winning in April. Show up to play and win in October and that's a team worth remembering.
@@bradleytaniguchi1187 I have no idea what you are trying to say. This is not a rivalry. Two series/home and home in April does not make a rivalry. It makes for entertaining baseball but can the Padres sustain? History says no and history says Dodgers certainly can. Until the Padres can play in Oct and win, there is no rivalry here. None at all. Just wishing it does not make it true.
Damm I missed the Golden Child making those amazing hits I’m so glad he got out of the little slump he had and pulled himself together Well done Seager
0:29 I'm a Dodger fan but this was karma for Bauer when he responded to the MLB The Show 21 trailer and said Tatis Jr homering off of him would never happen
Right , cuz the Padres don’t rub teams the wrong way with the over the top celebrations and dancing . Lol To me that is fine just like Trent Grisham started it last year by pimping that home off Kershaw.if you can dish it be prepared to take it !
Half of the battle the Dodgers will have this year defending their world series title is to get past the Padres once again come October. It's good to see both teams duking it out this early in the season. These games are character-builders for both SD and LA in preparation for the Fall Classic.
umpire was garbage but i’m glad it went both sides at least. gg to the dodgers, hopefully the pads can take the series but if not 2 and 2 is alright. mad at tingler for putting in pierce johnson and then refusing to take him out until damage was already done.
This might be stupid but Bauer might benefit by removing the curve from his pitch’s like Degrom did. His stuff is so nasty the curve is almost unnecessary risk
@@garyjaurique5028 He can't cheer on his team? Man, this is why the Dodgers fanbase is 1 of the least liked. They won't let any team's fans enjoy a win or be excited without being crucified.
what a intense game it was, I really want Mateo for last steal or Grisham to score but all gone. Tatis jr was in hot form, great game , Johnson came and changed the game brr.
We was lucky to win yesterday but it's win and I'll take it. The Dodgers are going to win a lot of games because of their talent but they have to always bring their A- game and not just show up thinking they go beat teams.
Dodger offense FINALLY came to last night, whew! They might be able to split this 4-game series yet, but we'll see later today. Tatis Jr looks like he's completely over his early-season slump, still can't believe that 2nd home run he hit off Bauer in that game. He got that ball right off the end of the bat and it somehow found a way into the seats (O_O), thought MLB wasn't using those "backspin" baseballs anymore... ;-p
