Here we bring you a recording from the first Paedagogium Platform International Conference, which took place on November 13, 2023, at Charles University Karolinum. This event was an exceptional opportunity for sharing experience and mutual discussion among academics and experts in the field of higher education. The conference program included a series of lectures and discussions focused on the development of pedagogical competencies of academic staff. The highlights included a panel discussion on the quality of teaching, featuring representatives from the National Accreditation Bureau for Higher Education, the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, and different Czech universities, as well as presentations of good practices from the Czech Republic and abroad.
