I'm truly stunned at this watch ,dial/handset etc & definitely one of PD's best to date , i did notice the 4 o'clock index straight away but overall at $140 its a fair asking price . Size wise i'm sure it'll please a lot of folk personally i'd prefer closer to 39 but yeah Pagani appear to be making moves in the right direction .

@@caktaylor I'd love to see this one with the NH35. I own two San Martin's with the PT5000, and they are both keeping lousy time (-20-30 secs/day). My 3 Pagani's with the NH35? All of them are within 6-7 secs/day fast. Just right. Nonetheless, I just ordered this watch today, so I'll see what happens. I'll probably need to get it properly regulated.

I do appreciate your reviews. Straight to the point, no unnecessary waffle etc. Although I have a number of high end brands, I really think there is place for these renditions. Especially when risk of damage is high.

Because of your review I ordered this watch but the version 2 that has no pt500 on the dial.. The watch is going to be delivered tomorrow & I am so excited.. You wrist shot is great do not change your wrist shot in the sun because it give justice to the watch.. It shows the real beauty of the watch under the sun.. The reflections on the stainless case especially on the shiny bezel of the watch & the dial is amazing..

That's a really nice watch, and so much better than anything else they have made. I wish they had put "automatic" on the dial rather than PT5000. Looked best on the tan Vario strap

Nice made vid, thanks for that. I have to annotate that I never was a fan of the Airking. And the case size makes it impossible for me to wear it ( 8,5 inch wrist). But I want to talk about the here shown quality. In Germany we say that quality is the fulfillment of a requirement. And for around 140 US-D I want more! As I said after your unboxing vid, I´,m totally shocked about the bracelet.Now I noticed some rough areas on it, looking like machine markings. And the indeces at 4 and 5...an abolut no-go! Something positive to end: The green-gold Nato looks amazing on this watch, so you have a nice eye on that 👍. Just go on, good work!🙂

I'm so glad you did this review before your vacation. Your phenomenal macro shots sold me on this watch despite the QC issues with the bracelet and the pee-pee poor lume on those gorgeous hands. So, I'm ordering one today. I'll let you know if mine has the same issues on the bracelet. Thanks again for your fantastic reviews!

@@ElGuardianDelTiempo movement hasn't improved but hasn't worsened either. It gets a lot of late night wrist time now that it's on leather. Light, comfortable...perfect lounging watch

@@ElGuardianDelTiempo I love the look of the watch. The movement is about +15 sec/day, so not impressive. The crown a tion is downright terrible. Despite the QC issues, once I replaced the crummy, cheap clasp with glide lock clasp, I like it much better, and is very comfortable. It's also a mean strap monster. Overall, I'd give it a 7.5 putts 10, but Pagami needs to really listen to their customers complaints. It could have been so much better. Hope that helps.

I would like to see it on their Rolex glide lock design 3 link bracelet. Please see if you can swap it out. The polished center link version would look stunning imo. Too bad the lume is terrible. Looking forward to acquiring a watch with the PT5000.

With regards to the lume not matching on the hands and dial, with cheaper brands, the hands and dials are made in different factories and often made by the cheapest place rather than the best. When you consider how much cheaper some of these watches are, I think it’s acceptable. The wonder to me is that companies like Steeldive can make watches at this price that glow all night! Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

I gave this one a swerve, but seeing it now on video, not sure if I made the right call. The only thing that does it for me is the green seconds hand, just throws it off. I think maybe the white dial might be worth a look though. Nice work with the review and hopefully we'll see what Pagani learn from this and implement it into future models

Thanks for checking it out Wes. The seconds hand seems to split a lot of opinions...and Pagani knew it would. I like it, but a gold hand would definitely be popular with the majority

I received mine today... so, here's the good, the bad and the ugly: GOOD; It arrived exactly 7 days after ordering! ---The head of the watch is absolutely drop dead gorgeous and perfectly sized for my 7" wrist---Love the retro look, the dials/indices/hands and case. BAD: The bracelet is horrible; QC is terrible (two screws broke off while I was adjusting the bracelet); that being said, the bracelet on mine did not have the strange variance on the links that you noted, they were perfectly symmetrical as they should be. UGLY: There is nothing the slightest bit ugly about this watch. CONCLUSIO0N: After changing the clasp out to a quality Rolex style Glidelock clasp, I am one happy camper!

Excited for a sub-40mm Pagani, but why always over 12mm thick? I get the probably 2mm domed crystal, but the PT5000 is under 5mm thick itself. Can Pagani forego the 200m WR, and make a thinner case for once?

They have updated the watch - comes with a sapphire caseback and an updated 'glidelock' clasp.

Yes, I actually have that on hand. Clasp is their typical sub style clasp. They also shrunk the dial layout a bit. Brought in the indices, shorter hands, and added lume plots to all the hour markers. Makes the dial appear smaller. And dropped the PT5000 text on the dial. I'll be doing a short video on my second channel so keep an eye out over there.

The big thing with the clasps for me is functionality. It works, satisfying to use, not too big, no sharp edges, micro-adjust. Minimal slop. This check all the boxes...not as pretty as some watches, but it's not "Bad"

Yup, I kinda figured that's what was going to happen...lol. FYI these have been updated to V2. Smaller hands, they brought in the dial indices as well to match, display caseback, ever so slight change to the crown.

Lume usually is an indication in how much effort they put into other parts of the watch. It also probably costs them next to nothing in the long run, so why skimp out to save $1 a watch?...or better yet, charge an extra $10 and people will pay for it.

$156 ? ? ? You're having a laugh. PD are going to price themselves out of the market. Not even an NH38 movement. There's no way I'm going to be tempted. Double the price of most PD watches. JANBOY. RN. Rtd.
