So today my PD1780 arrived. I immediately took it off the supplied rubber straps and put on a navy blue suede leather strap. Looks better, now. It actually is a beautiful watch. The lume is not as bad as yours ... maybe they use different lumes for different colors? I have got the silver/white dial. What I like is that this one isn't an outright copy, but "inspired by..." For me, that's a keeper.

Waiting for mine to arrive. Did not expect the lume to be that bad as is seemed like Pagani was improving. But one step forward and two steps back, I assume.
Mine is still on the way, 1 more week. Does VH88 have the same problem as VH31 when you push in the crown and the minute hand moves by half a minute? Though I only have one VH31 (PD-1734), so it can be a problem with mine. This weekend I actually thought it was 8:21, but it was actually 8:22 (I timed something and needed to know the exact time), that's how far off it was. Then I sat down with the watch and figured it is best to have it in 12 up position when setting it. That is because gravity affects the minute hand the most in this position, and gravity guarantees you where the minute hand will land. So when you push the crown in, the minute hand will always fall towards 6 o'clock, so from 0 to 30 minutes you set it as far to the plus as the minute hand play is and from 30 to 60 minutes you set it as far to the minus as the play is. This way you can set it accurate 100% of time. EDIT: Oh, you actually did say about this at 4:05.
