As you mentioned small hulk has 3bar saphire crystal and bigg hulk has 4bar saphire crystal does it mean bigg halk has more hard saphire crystal then small hulk ?
Hi Just got my PD-1661, after unboxing i saw that the movement isn’t working. I taught that it was not enough winded while it was delivered. But after many shakes and even more manual winding, the watch didn’t started. I was able to change the time, but just don’t start. The seconds hand is not moving. When i hand wind it sounds like it’s winding, but it does just not work. Can you please give me a solution? I am pretty desperate… thank you very very much.
Sorry to hear that you have bad luck. Contact the seller immediately and ask for a refund. If you bought it on Aliexpress, sellers usually are very good working with you for an exchange or even a refund. First step for you, contact your seller IMMEDIATELY. You have only 15 days after receiving the watch to get a direct solution from the seller. I went through a process because one of my watch broke after 15 days, but that's another story and its my next video. It is just your bad luck because Pagani essentially makes the casing for the watch, the Miyota or HN35A are ultra reliable movement in their own own construction. If the seller is good, they should send you another one after you provide a few pictures (proof) to show that it isn't working. Best of luck.
Hello , i would like to ask you someting, the big one 1639 green is different more darker i guess then 1661? and which one look more like real rolex hulk? thank you
1639 is extremely-slightly darker than 1661. Regardless, the 40mm (1661) is close to the real Rolex; 1639 is just too big to resemble the real thing. Also, the 1661 I made the video with is the 2nd generation, 1639 is now beyond its 3rd generation with Miyota movement and possible improvement on the clasp.
@@89063068444 Quality is another thing. 1639 MAY have a higher quality, BUT 1661 resembles the real Rolex in my opinion. Regardless, 1661 has changed since my review, hopefully it is for the better. For me, accuracy is SO IMPORTANT, and both of them failed (if you see the timegrapher section of my video).
What do you mean failed! in what sense? None of the movements come from the factory pre calibrated so it's luck of the draw. But since you own a timegrapher any half decent hobbyist should be able to calibrate either of Miyota or NH35a to within +- 5 seconds per day and even better so with the NH35a.
Your wrist is good for both, it is a matter of personal preference. If you are into moderate size watches or the true Rolex experience, then it is the smaller version. If you want a bigger watch to fit your 18.5cm, then the bigger version.
@@walnawk Thanks for the advice. I bought a GMT 40mm last week I had not received it yet. But I have some 41,42,43mm watches and now I find it a bit big. I followed your advice, I took a Pagani "Hulk" 1661 40mm, there were only 8 left. I think you are right the rolex experience will be more present on the 40, 43mm on my 18.5 it's already big
Too bad, the PD-1661 no longer use seiko NH35 movement. Instead they are using Miyota 8215 which has no hacking. I to buy the pd-1661 but the miyota movement is stopping me... is it worth it?
Miyota is also very respectable and accurate which what time-telling is all about. For one hundred dollars, it is worthwhile. In fact, if you look at my video, the timegrapher reading on both of my Nh35 were way off. Not really a good thing. But you do have other choices if you want NH35, Steeldive SD1953. Very similar pricing too.
Is not only the non-hacking of Miyota, is also noisier as it only winds in one direction of the rotor. Miyota can be accurate but NH35 is better choice for these two reasons.
I have just purchased a 2022 PD1661 with a NH35a from AliExpress so clearly Pagani has never stopped using it. The Seiko NH35a is a superior movement to the Miyota because on top of it's other advantages it's movement is infinitely more adjustable.

1639 is bigger in size 43mm and older by less than a year. 1661 is updated and smaller 40mm (possibly due to request to match the real Rolex size of 40mm). Functionality and built is almost the same. Great looking with all components, rough clasps, great movement (Seiko).
Nato strap only comes in 20mm or 22mm. If you buy the 22mm nato strap, it will be too big for the 1639; so you use the 20mm nato strap for the big hulk 1639.
Great video but man, those timegrapher figures are appalling! The amplitude on the big one is concerning, and the rate on both is very bad. Beat error also unacceptable. That's not typical of a NH35
Agreed. Both watches were purchased at different times from different vendors. So it was bad luck on my side. Both watches are due for adjustment, both can be easily brought back to par. Comes down to QC were people when they left Pagani floors.
I got my 1639 (the bigger one) today. It's ok. My newer model pagani design watches are actually much much better. The recent seamaster 007 homage is like a deadass 10/10; the 1639 is ... a 7.. However, for the cost, its still incredible. What I will say, you should have a dose of self awareness before purchasing the 1369. I have monster wrists and this thing is genuinely huge; it fits me fairly well, but I have 8..25" wrist, the 1661 is most certainly going to suit more people better. The bracelet is weird; its both very well made (solid end links, screw in links, deployant clasp, diver extension, etc) but its finished like absolute ass haha. I spent a few hours polishing and finishing up mine, and its a million times better lol. Its very light actually, a lot of cheaper watches with "solid" bracelets wind up being outrageously heavy, this is light but doesnt feel cheap. All in all, the newer models are going to be superior; like its not even close. That said, I paid 70$ for it, and I absolutely can not complain here lol; its fantastic. My main complaint is the bezel slop combined with it being a 21mm (why?) bracelet size. The heart is a seiko, so it'll probably last until the heat death of the universe. 7/10 watch, the PD 1667 is like a 12/10, I can comfortable directly compare it to my black bay 58; its that unreasonably good. Im not sure if I got a good one but its unreasonably high quality lol. Im mildly let down ,but that is my own issue from setting the bar too high. A small correction, the 1639 is a *Sea Dweller* homage, not a submariner. Reference -> 126600. The 1661 is an homage to the submariner (of course) Reference -> 116610. Pedantic but is what it is.
I have my eyes on a Phylida Seamaster 300M GMT homage. They re-appeared with NH34 movement. Phylida is awesome with that case. I imagine my video on that will lined up six months from now :-) (If I even get that timepiece on Ali 11/11 sale).
@@walnawk Your channel and all that, but for the content; might be a good idea to compare the pagani variant to it. Not my own personal experience, but everyone I know with both prefer the pagani overall; but the Phylida is obviously more "Accurate" visually. The main gripe I have with it, the helium escape valve doesnt work, its just there for looks (...which I think is stupid as hell haha). I am curious if they changed cases with the seiko movement as well; the NH movements are somewhat notorious for having really high crowns; which is why they have thick cases to put the dial in a reasonable spot. I hate overselling a watches quality, but by ever measure I have available (Im a nuclear engineer, Im pretty damn picky!), I genuinely cant say my Tudor is "better finished" than that thing (*NOT* counting the straps here of course). Its miles better than my seikos; no question. The lume is shit; and thats even something I can fix anyway. Phylida's do have better lume to my understanding. I do worry if I just got a "good one" and Im overselling it lol; and I temper it with comparing it to my 1639 (its not bad, its just "good for the price". My 1667 is just flat out "good" lol). Anywho, sorry for the long winded rant; cheers!
these are not watches, just a trend . a trend , that every one here on youtube ''works'' for them . the ''promoters'' on youtube should claim money for their services on pagani ...
