@tennisballer17 "His notes are not very clear during the faster runs, he seems to speed up and slow down at random times, and he does not give every note the same importance." It is called passion while playing, put a sheet in front of the man and he'll most likely blow your mind with perfectness. Remove the sheet and he'll show you passion, one of the most important attributes for a musician.

Wow - the way he plays those slow sections at the beginning and the end is fantastic - so imaginative and expressive Also his use of rubato and contrast in the crazy fast section makes it super exciting and virtuosic. Very rare to hear a top notch violinist who really thinks about the music in these pieces rather than just nailing the notes. Sad that so modern violinists these days esteem technical excellence above music itself. Of course in the 24 caprices it's so hard to have both technical brilliance and musical insight combined together in the performance which is what makes this guy such a rare breed.

His playing also made me think of this. Previously I thought that staying true to the score was of utmost importance even in solo unaccompanied violin repertoire.

Where did you get this great wisdom that modern violinists ‘esteem technical excellence over the music itself’? Just ridiculously uninformed
@jacc88888
@jacc88888 2 года назад
@@andrewnix6480 It was just an opinion on RU-vid . It was of course a generalisation. Still other contemporary players I enjoy listening to in this kind of repertoire. Ps not ridiculously uninformed actually but you clearly have some social issues judging by the way you interact with people on RU-vid.

Increible cuanta inspiracion, hace vivir cada nota en un mundo real. Cada sentimiento expresado que hace vivir al maximo dicha nota clasica.

Love how the camera changes angle every couple of beats from 3:13 until 3:18, and on the very last C, gives Markov a ridiculous "zoom out". Makes Markov seem on top of the world. The camera man's/women's work is on parr with Markov, they usually even change angles on beat. Unparallelled performance by Markov here, this is my favorite caprice, and he doesn't disappoint. All of his performances really breathe new life into these undying caprices.

Par mi forma de ver, es el capricho más complejo de Paganini. No sólo es extraordinario y complicado sino el más hermoso. Like!

Are you guys serious or are you being ironic?! Cause Markov is the most marvellous executioner of Paganini there has ever been,and I would be shocked if you are actually serious! Anyway,breathtaking performance by Markov as usuall!Perfect lines all the way through,brilliant portamento and an overall sensational performance!

Its obvious mate. He is actually a member of the extraordinary investigators and the "." is a common trap to catch members of your order ! You should know that ! Now you're doomed. They will find you and make all sort of experience to loose their sanity and understand how alien works !
