Paganini Caprice No.24 - Daniel Leal Trumpet 

Not here to criticise, I thought it sounded lovely too; but this isn't that difficult to do when you cut after almost every variation. An Orchestra is going to expect to hear you play wonderfully for more than 20 or 30 seconds at a time! Not to say that this player isn't capable of doing that, it sounds great, but I'm only saying that a short video like this, with multiple cuts in, doesn't really offer much information for any prospective employers! Nevertheless, I thoroughly enjoyed the music- would have liked to hear some of the other variations too :)

@@trumpetbrain7302 yeah, daniel plays EXTREMELY well, I love his others videos. however, I laughed out loud at all of the excessive cuts. especially the one after his first breath!

@@RJ12347 I play it regularly... exactly the way I indicated. So, it CAN be done. Also, you will see that there are OTHERS who AGREE with my assessment. I'm not saying that he's a bad player. I'm only saying that he should improve that aspect of his phrasing.
