Gandhi was an American rock band formed somewhere at the start of the millenium by Helmet frontman Page Hamilton (vocals/lead guitar), with Anthony Truglio (guitar), John Andrews (guitar/vocals), Christian Bongers (bass guitar/vocals), and Matt Flynn (drums).
This rare demo consists of 10 well produced tracks where Hamilton offers a unique sound while still being very much reminiscent of his Helmet work, some songs on this demo even ended up as actual Helmet tracks: Money Shot and Every Single Word (later titled "Bury Me") both ended up on the 2006 album Monochrome; the songs Enemies, Everybody Loves You, I Get in Your Way (later titled "Surgery"), See You Dead and Throwing Punches all ended up on the 2004 album Size Matters, the last two being identical to the Helmet versions appart from some slight differences in the mixing.
I was extremely lucky and managed to find this demo on Soulseek, and upon analyzing it on my DAW I quickly noticed that all the songs had an uncomfortably bright sound, so I did some slight EQing to give them a more pleasant and comfortable sound.
I am still not 100% sure of how legitimate this is, so if you have any more information regarding this demo, feel free to leave a comment bellow.
