Practice makes perfect! I can sense that you are working hard. You go girl! Don’t forget to drink lots of water, and if they hurt, you can soak them in warm water (+Epsom salt if you have any) and/ or put your feet physically up after a long day. I like to put my feet up against the wall while lying in bed backwards (with my bum close to the pillows)... while scrolling social media on my phone 😂

As for 3” heel recommendations, I hesitate to give you specific brands because some are just naturally narrow or others are wider, etc. and I don’t know the shape of your foot (personally I have a bunion so I find like every heel uncomfortable hah) but if you’re able to try something on first that would be ideal. Amazon wardrobe has heels you can try on at home and send back if you don’t find them comfortable. If stores are open where you are, going in to try them on in person is the best! I am in California and with Covid shut downs we haven’t been able to do that 🙁

Ah thanks Cess! I come from the dance world where pirouette is also a type of turn so it’s interesting that it applies to both kinds!

@@CrystalClues that's cool. I also watched a video wherein you talked about how you were a ballet dancer and how some techniques can be applied to pageants as well ☺️ I also do a slight variation of your pageant turn where I cross one foot over the other, raise my heels and turn ☺️

Sneha George you’re so sweet! It’s SO cool that your pageant may take you to Miss World 🌏 I hope you win!! I’ll keep uploading different topics but in the meantime it’s just great to see that you’re taking advantage of all the resources online. There are some great “ramp walk” videos produced in India which I have enjoyed watching too. Soak in everything from other experts and women out there too . Within the pageant coaching community, we don’t always agree. (It’s a good thing .. keeps things interesting!) Coaches all have different opinions, ways of doing things, and perspectives so I say take them ALL in and then decide for yourself what works best for you and feels right. Hi Fatma I do it at least once a week now but the funny thing is that once I stopped competing, it got a lot easier to workout because I could focus on how I felt and overall health and well-being rather than this specific goal. it was like a light had turned on because I was suddenly doing it for myself and not for a contest. I would encourage you to think about it in terms of building a lifelong habit because once you start doing things for a higher purpose, it becomes a lot easier to stick with it. Also don’t kill yourself on the first few workouts. Ease yourself into it slowly and make it simple to do in the beginning. Starting out, the key is consistency rather than intensity.

@@CrystalClues thanks for the reply n tip . Am not doing t for the contest but it has been my dream to get abs n i dint have a tangible motivation so now i get full motivation from the contest n still after have t as a lifestyle coz i love my body its my general confidence mirror .

@@justfatma629 Hi Fatma, I was thinking about you and decided to make this video of the 8 minute ab workouts I did leading up to my pageants. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BzrJ5FBID1c.html I hate doing sit ups but honestly structuring 8 minutes every day to just get it out of the way in the morning made it a lot easier. I also go for time not for reps. So I just do the exercises for 40-45 seconds and on days when I feel tired, I do them slower. I personally like having a routine and I just tell myself "this is going to be the hardest 8 minutes of my day. I can do it!"

Yes, you’ll get there! Just practice and do it in a room with a mirror if you can. Slow it down and gradually pick up the speed. Over time it’ll feel more natural!
