Decoding the valley of shepherds - PAHALGAM !
A highly tourist-friendly destination now, Pahalgam was once a humble shepherd’s village
While this place offers a myriad of activities for every season and choice, I was here just to spend some quality time (at an absolutely gorgeous little cottage just by the river Lidder), go on a few hidden trails with the local shepherds and meet a dear friend - just some simple pleasures of life.
And in this process what I learnt was the secret mantra behind BEING HAPPY. Watch the episode to find it out :)

I had stayed in Pahalgam in 1987 July on my honeymoon. My daughter stayed this year 2021 . Your video reminded me of this super beautiful place & resolve to visit again before 2021 ends

Brother let be honest with you.. You covered a lot of things in this videos like hospitality, nature, and most important thing when you said what Kashmir people wanted like someone come and meets up and talk with them.. That is what Kashmiri people looking to and even you went to shepherd house that was most epic scene I love your mentality bcz you are trying to explore the inner beauty i mean most of people are going to common areas nd trying to explore and gaining experience bcz they were missing these things but are not doing such mistake☺ and your level of mentally is at high Standards Being a Kashmiri kid I love to see such contents on RU-vid

Superb ....just for your I formation I visited Pahalgam in 1969 with my parents and stayed for a week. I loved the place ... Clouds. and if course the Mountains. Love them. Watching this episode memories are fresh again... 👌

This video made my day. Thank you. In Afghanistan, for places like this we say, "janat roy zamin" it means Earth's heaven. This place truly is janat roy zamin. I wish I could visit here one day and stay there for at least a month. But sad thing is I may not be able to experience what you did, cause i don't know someone to go far from crowded areas. Thank you for this. Just watching it reminded me of my country and hometown Panjshir.

I have seen so many vlogs of pahalgam and all of them were really good. But the Pahalgam in this video is sooooo different. It gives peace and calmness to the mind . Pahalgam is looking so beautiful..Lush green sprawling mountains and shepherds grazing around are some eye catching moments which are etched in the memory lane and will tend to remain for some time..With urbanisation hitting hard and taking an upswing, such green fields are rarely available ..It is definitely like one would like to spend some time in this bowl of majestic beauty..
