I’m in a local network group. £30 a month thus includes the breakfast etc. The guy that runs it owns a letting agency and gives me all gutter cleans etc for the 300 properties he manages. It’s brought me a lot of work and is very informal.
I think there's more benefit for smaller businesses in smaller less formal groups than bni...thats just my opinion. It's less formal, less intimidating for newbies and you're more likley to get work in that small geographical area.

I’m buzzing you called. 😂 I have nothing against the idea of networking like you, and everyone was really nice at the meeting, But I think I’m with you on this one. I might be missing a trick and it is good value for money somehow but I’ll go for the organic route much like yourself. Thanks again for the advice.
BNI just make money from members and not from what the members get out of it! Their only interest is more membership fees, hence the traffic lights for introducing potential new members not for how much money it generates for the members! Have a great weekend.
Currently having another binge on your videos, you may already have a video on it. It follows on really from where this leaves off. Would you have any advice for startups on where is a good place to put the money. I’m currently knocking doors to get customers, invested in a good pole, a decent van that’s now signwritten but i’m now on designing a website and looking at paid advertising. SEO google and FB, and let’s just say I don’t particularly enjoy that side of business, it’s fing boring. Do you run advertisements etc. pay a marketing firm to do it for you? At What point did you start doing it? Do you aim to spend a % of takings on it? Your thoughts in a video would be appreciated. Thats if you haven’t already done one, I just might not have come across it. Ps if you want me to stfu asking questions I will😂 it’s just you seem to talk a lot of sense. And that side of business is all new to me.
Gald you're getting benefit from the content...fill yer boots 😄. It depends where you're at, what cahflow you have and where you want to take the business. There's no silver bullet answer anyone can give you unless they know what your starting point is.
I don't have a problem with them wanting to make money. I had a problem with their attitude. Expecting me to prove my worth whilst handing over the amount of investment. If it opens doors for people great, but don't expect me to fight to convince you of my worth.
