While I agree with your point , I also think Lexi has a much better first step when driving or dribbling the ball . Paige is a better passer while both young ladies are great shooters . Paige is a feel type of player while Lexi is more disciplined. It will be great to see how they progress in college and if there are any Uconn vs. Iowa games ,see who gets the best of the other . I will take Lexi for $20 in their first meeting 😎👽
@@charleskennedy8695 Agreed that she has a quick first step and a very nice shot. She is not the complete player that Buekers is when you add running the offense and defense into the mix. Buekers will likely be a true PG at UConn while Donarski will be asked to score more, especially given that the Huskies are more talented.
@@deandredavis5264 i think so too in the times they went up against each other paige seemed to shy away from taking over and went to passin. Kinda exposed her defense up against somebody who is on her level. She gets by a lot from her length but watching the 1v1 her defense aint as great as all the other vids have been showing. Shes def the better passer but she also has the obviously better team as well
Lucky UConn this girl Paige reminds me of a young Sue Bird and really has a game that's very developed O, D and transition. She makes other players on the court better controls the tempo and can distribute. Text book head up seeing the entire court and as good a passer as any boy I have ever seen. This may sound crazy, but the 1st time I saw a teenage Larry Bird in the Indiana sectional in the mid 70s, she passes like he did. Remember her name. The other girl is definitely a excellent player that could play D1 in many places but Paige is an exceptional tallent that comes along once in a blue moon. She's a professional prospect. God bless her because I can tell someone who has worked their butt of to learn and execute beyond their God given ability and she is an example of what you can do with hard work.
Impressive ladies...share the ball well and see the court well...accurate shooters and great ball handlers...21 creates space for her shots so nicely...love those quick jump backs....I once saw JJ Reddick go head to head with another great high school player and this video reminded me of how fun it is to see truly talented kids compete vs each other
My way to early predicition. Paige Bueker Big East Freshman of the Year, 32 MPG, 14 PPG, 8 RPG, 6 APG, 2 BPG, 3 SPG. Hate that we lost M. Walker. Go Huskies!
Yeah... I can't figure it out.. But; I'm from Minnesota, and now I've watched like 5 of her videos. Which is more basketball than I've watched in my entire life up til now. 😆
Yeah, I wrestled my whole life, coach wrestling, do jiu jitsu, fish and hunt. I watch nothing but those genres 99% of the time. I started getting them on my feed after watching poor sportsmanship videos.
@Jessica S that part confuses me, like if you play very stiff than that means you’re very unatheltic which is a problem when you’re playing a sport She plays more like a high schooler than a pro, things like size and aggression that show in pros do not show up in her game, whether that’s a basketball issue or a gender issue I’ll leave that for you to decide
Two very talented young women. I wish them both success. Paige played D and distributed the ball. Lexi scored more & played some D. Paige's team won. Watching them play at the next level will be quite enjoyable.
Donarski must have great posture. She looks very upright and that makes her appear as though she wouldn't be overly athletic. That impression doesn't last long though.
21 and her team Aquinas have beat my schools team (Melrose-Mindoro) once in the sectional finals and twice in a row now in the state championship I got respect for her and her team
Today is Dec. 26, 2020 and Paige is playing at UConn. They have played five games and won 5-0. Four of that games Paige got the highest score and stats. And she is just a freshman. Wait another two years and she will be playing in the WNBA LEAGUE. LOLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!! What can you say haters?????
I would have loved to play with a point guard like Bueckers, just get a little bit open and she'd find you. Always dribbling with her eyes up and looking for the open player, moving her feet on defense, squared to the basket on shots-very smooth and fundamentally sound.
Fascinating style of play. Either they are shooting from the door to the locker room or someone is wide open right under the basket. Oh, for a girl power forward to jam up the middle!
Lexi committed to her FAV school Iowa State in 8th grade! Smart coach and smart school to offer her a scholarship. These two might meet in a national championship game.
She's too young for me, but I still haven't met a female that can beat me one on one. I'm sure there are some WNBA and NCAa players that might be able to pass me when I run out of breath, but they aren't beating me full strength vs. 75% of mine.
@@BenchedViews I'm just being honest. I'm 6'4, and now I'm 35 and out of shape, so I'm sure there are some that can beat me when I run out of breath. Until then it wouldn't be close. Even with a woman who has the size and the skill like Elana Della Donne, she can't move as quick as me, jump as high as me, and hang with my strength in the post. This isn't me bragging, because I'm not a great athlete, in just talking about the reality of male and female biology. I might be interesting some of the women, but from my experience, an average man ball player can beat an exceptional woman at basketball every time.
If yall slow down how fast the video plays and go to were Lexi Donarski was doing her freethorws you can see that she uses her thumb to shoot and push of the ball.
#21 got less press it seems, but her upside could be higher. You can tell that so long as she develops her physicality w/sport specific training/crossfit/etc. she going to be a physical specimen.
How does she compare to 2A Middletown (MD) Knight’s 6’2” Junior Saylor Poffenbarger? Saylor’s team’s only loss is to three time champion 3A Frederick Cadets. First game of the season, they both play each other this Tuesday the 25th at Hood College at 7pm. The game will be broadcast on 930am radio WFMD. The knights lost the earlier game in the final minutes when Saylor fouled out on questionable fouls and a couple of missed layups gave Frederick a five point lead. It should be a great game to watch in person or listen to. It will follow the Frederick County boys championship game. It will be packed to the rafters!
Wouldn’t you be sayin that too? Bueckers game is more complete because she is surrounded by all-stars. She is absolutely an amazing player and definitely the #1 in the nation, but I would like to see her in a setting where she doesn’t have the supporting cast to see if she could still dominate.
@@HoraceGold333 not even a mens community college would lose to these girls, just facts. There's no misogyny in saying men are better than women at some things, sports are one of those things
I keep seeing comments about one being better than the other. There are a lot of things to consider. No one cares about defense anymore. It’s all about scoring. Everyone always wants to know how points did you have? It’s never how many steals, assist, rebounds, etc... With that being said, a couple people said Paige was better cause she was going to UConn which everyone knows is a powerhouse, but maybe Lexi wanted to stay closer home, maybe she liked the gym, weight room, and campus better, maybe she got a full ride at Iowa State, etc... There’s a lot more than just how good the Basketball team is. Here’s a perfect example. I was recruited at a lot of D1 schools, but I was going to go to Marshall cause i liked the campus, I was closer home, etc... When you compare Marshall to Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Auburn, Clemson which wasn’t good back then, but for Football people could have said I wasn’t good enough to go there, but I didn’t want to anyway. Her family would also have a much longer trip going to UConn to watch her. There is a million reasons in sports why people choose the way they do, but both are really good players!
Both girls are WAY better than the girls were when I played but #21 ... To me... is the better player. She is more in control of her body. Her movement on the court and with the ball is top notch.
