Caitlyn Clark also has done it though. Caitlyn Clark is pulling up from damn-near halfcourt and honestly her game is the only thing I’m missing about this postseason.
@@zaynes5094 she wilted under Creightons pressure. It was a really bad game for her. Tough to watch her struggle that much tbh. Wild drives throwing it up and praying for a call was all she had and they weren’t giving her those calls. Hopefully she’s even better next year. That Michigan comeback was fun to watch.
It's not even just Paige & Caitlin: This whole generation - especially the Class of 2024, but also a year or two older and younger (Rhyne Howard, Elissa Cunane going to the WNBA this year, Azzi Fudd in 2025)... But the class of 2024: Whew.... That reminds me of the NBA s class of 1984 (Olajuwon, Jordan, Drexler, Barkley, Stockton,... Ewing a year before.... Karl Malone the year after)... That NBA Generation made immediate impact then took over the NBA for like 15 or more years. This college class is turning NCAA into Instant Classic TV... and they will uplift the WNBA in a couple years to new heights: * Paige * Caitlin (remember, Magic Johnson had years where he was called "Tragic Magic" .... so even Hall of Famers/legends have bad times/games) * Cameron Brink * Aliyah Boston * Hailey Van Lith * Haley Jones They are basically still teenagers now - But they are developing into young women ... and they will hit their prime probably in their 20s.... Can't wait to see the Basketball that they all produce!
UCONN's legacy is real. It didn't happen overnight. Nor with just one player or one moment. Not even just with Geno. Chris has been by his side the whole time. I hope Paige gets to claim her page of that legacy and add another chapter to the novel. It's a great novel.
@@toms6841 Saddens me to say this. But I don't think it will be his year. Seems the stars have been aligned against them for a while now...especially this year.
Come on UConn all the way from across the Pacific in Hilo Hawaii , please win another championship. Been your favorite fan ever since the first Goat Diana played , through Mayas and Briana's reign n now Paige!
I’m going with the team that has the best role players and backcourt, Stanford. But if Paige can get her teammates involved and can get hot like in that OT against NC State early then it will be a close game. Stanford can win by either 10 or lose by 2 and either way it’ll come down a go a last-second possession.
@@zaynes5094 I'm hard rooting for UCONN, but I don't disagree with your analysis. It's still a team sport, and a single player can't do it alone; although Paige made a good argument against NC State. If Fudd is hot and Williams continues her senior trend as a true warrior, they have a good shot. I just hope the refs let them play.
The Queen will rule her court!! She is at home now and her powers will give her team mates the strength to carry out their duties with the will of Victory ((-; Go Girls!!!!
@@elainejames6632 I’m confident in UConn and there ability to play Stanford it’s looking good but now that juhasz is out edwards and ododa gotta stay out of stupid fouls and if they could get brink to foul trouble that would be beneficial for them and all the players gotta be locked in and making shots coming Friday
What no Paige Mania??? Ah Come People in Minneapolis since when and often does your Favorite Daughter comes Home!!!!! Dang People!!!! Is the arena going to be filled to the max or not??? Oh, it cold as an ice berg there or is it the temp of the reception!!!! For the NCAA Ladies Final Four that Arena better be standing room only for any of the teams!!!! We are counting on you people to spend sum hard mattress money to see these games!!!!
What’s actually wrong with you? And if people don’t want to watch women’s basketball why does this bother you? If they were truly equal maybe they’d be good enough to bring people in? Why would someone waste money on a women’s basketball game unless a family or friend was playing in it?

@@andrewjackson6763 The Ladies basketball is real basketball not run and dunk which to me has no value... They actually play as team and run plays, set screens... Dunking is flunking basketball as we know it... Limit the dunks to two per half and the games changes some much.....
I think the most surprising thing on this video is that they had to travel all the way to Minneapolis from CT by bus. I guess I thought they would fly. That's a long, grueling road trip. I've made it myself. Hope they get rested and ready to rock.
@@ilovihy107 I heard a report from a local station about that as well, but then how did they have two buses that appeared to be UCONN property covered with logos and symbols, etc. roll up to the hotel? I watched a short clip of the similar for the arriving South Carolina team and saw none of similar, obvious markings leading me to believe it was not an pre-arranged NCAA or university sponsored delivery from the airport.
@@toms6841 I think that the Ncaa people provide all the teams with a tour bus coming off the plane, or maybe UConn had there own bus but I really don't know.
@@ilovihy107 I read other comments suggesting that it was an experienced and prepared UCONN sports booster organization that was responsible for doing up the bus.
So UCONN will be facing Stanford in the final four, right? Oh my God! This is going to be an uphill battle because how could UConn hurdle against the champion? Their bigs are incredible, their guards, the twins, and Hailey Jones have no matchup. The point guards are pesky and quick. Stanford is going to create mismatches.
What they have this year and not last year is consistent scorers outside of Paige.., Azzi and Christyn have both found consistency in the season/tournament. Remember all the missed layups last year in the F4 by Ododa. It's not all on Paige's shoulders, although I will admit I'd like to see her bulk up a bit!
@@rogerfoster8172 I get what you mean, but Stanford does have mismatched against UConn. If any team can figure them out it’s Geno and his coaches, but Stanford is Stanford and that school is known for having the smartest people on the court at all times. There’s a joke on campus that the male athletes and female jocks are all nerds too.
@@casslynn1165 both Fudd and Williams went quiet towards the end of regulation and the 2 OTs until the final basket of last game. It will take at least 3 UCONN players in double digit scoring; hopefully but unlikely even more.
From MSP? Yes. The whole way from Storrs? No. I imagine they had a chartered flight from BDL sometime this afternoon after their "send-off" at Gampel Pavilion. The bus in this clip is from a company out of Minneapolis. If I had to venture a guess, it was "wrapped" with a UConn Jonathan Husky and NCAA logos in advance of this past Sunday night's game. Either that, or a it was hasty job that might explain the rippling that can be seen in the handiwork on one of the storage bay doors.
@@skoltyacatch84 Sorry mate your wrong again. 2 for 2 care to try for 3. Paige Bueckers has the best overall skillset in college ball and is clutch. Boston doesn't have anywhere near the athletic agility of Bueckers and in crunch time, has not made the big shots like Paige.
@@johnklein6040 just because Paige is from Minn doesn't maker the best. Right now she is not the best is only a freshman so not saying she isn't good. But don't label it a final four team arrive than only shoe one team and most one player. Listen when USC wins and Boston is mvp you will see
So Boston player of the year, defensive player of year the tournament most outstanding player 3 time all American 30 double double's and National Champion. So yeah I think she is better than Paige.
@@ytubsave307 Not last year when they needed big plays and couldn’t get them to drop. Arizona took it to them and Aari McDonald really was a one-woman show and it showed down the stretch of that championship. She wasn’t hitting shots, the rest of the team wasn’t winning. This season, for Iowa, one of my personal favorites to watch is Caitlyn Clark because she’ll pull up from the logo and drain it. She’s gonna be a fun one to watch for in the pros. I’d like to see her stay with Iowa and just force Iowa to recruit better for her. Get her some better guards that can actually hit their shots and free throws down the stretch so they don’t blow a 5 point lead like they did against Creighton.
